Who else is headed to round one?!?

If anyone sees a guy in a bright green SolarCity shirt with a straw cowboy hat, say hi! My son and I are looking forward to a great day of racing and it'd be great to meet some fellow Vitards. Tongue

I'll be there, probably wearing a gray Oakley shirt and a white Oakley hat... so I won't stand out much.

driving up from phoenix after work on Friday! show up @ 0600 and catch a nap in the parking lot before the races start. Gonna be a long weekend but its my wife's first national.

Won my tickets on the pulp giveaway a couple weeks ago!

Ill most likely be in jeans and boots with a grey shirt, straw hat, under an umbrella with a tiny woman by my side.

looking forward to this season.

If form follows the last few years, I'll be in the northwest corner of the pits.

I'll be there Thursday night until Saturday evening camping with my dad and some friends. Racing the am day on Friday then watching pros saturday. I'll be on a yz250 and cr500 (open two stroke class, might as well take advantage) with 485 on both, come say what's up! I'll have my RBR hat on with 485 on the back as well all weekend.

Dwayne, I sent you a pm but I'm not sure if they're working right now. I was just letting you know I was camping out there this time and maybe could repay you with a beer or some snacks for letting us invade your EZ up the last few years.

I can't imagine having only Supercross, or only motocross. I think we're lucky to have both.

By the time I get frustrated with limited track access, watching suspension that barely moves, and seat bouncing, it's time to head outdoors.

By the time I get burnt out on sweating my tail off, and eating dust, it's time to head back indoors.

But for the record, I love it all. Smile

nice. I would guess SX is all hotels and fying verses camping and driving for mx. I love them both but it seems like all the driving you do for mx would be tough after the excitement of doing it the first few tears wears off but maybe im way off. have fun Guy

Damn, that's quite a drive. I'm out for Hangtown, going to be up near Yosemite myself.

Better get to Yosemite super early, it's a three hour drive to Hangtown. Better to see Yosemite before the idiots get out of bed anyways.

Ya baby! Fast Fridays with speedway action in Auburn Friday night and then the booby bars!
We'll slam Saturday with rushing out of Prairie City on the final checkers and head for the furry of the Sacramento Mile. If I wasn't soo fucking old... or maybe ran with youngsters I'd love to tear up some E Street on Sunday. But I'll go ahead and count it as a win as I limp back over the border....

Yep!

We are lucky to have both series, and the excitement for each to start is equal for me.
Been that way since the 1970's Smile

Flying isn't always all that it's cracked up to be. I'm sure you've seen all the stories on the news lately describing the long delays with the TSA.

Every summer it's a bit of a shock at how many miles there are between events, but I really do enjoy driving the first nine (and then flying the last three). I did mostly drive all the events the first couple of years. Yeah, I used a cheater line a couple times for Washougal (leave the truck in the midwest after Millville, fly to Washougal, and then drive the rest of the rounds), but now I've got a girlfriend, and we both agree that being gone all summer is a little too much.
