Who else is headed to round one?!?
If anyone sees a guy in a bright green SolarCity shirt with a straw cowboy hat, say hi! My son and I are looking forward to a great day of racing and it'd be great to meet some fellow Vitards.

The Shop
Hoping the rain will stay away.
Can't wait for the Nationals to start!!!
Won my tickets on the pulp giveaway a couple weeks ago!
Ill most likely be in jeans and boots with a grey shirt, straw hat, under an umbrella with a tiny woman by my side.
looking forward to this season.
Dwayne, I sent you a pm but I'm not sure if they're working right now. I was just letting you know I was camping out there this time and maybe could repay you with a beer or some snacks for letting us invade your EZ up the last few years.
By the time I get frustrated with limited track access, watching suspension that barely moves, and seat bouncing, it's time to head outdoors.
By the time I get burnt out on sweating my tail off, and eating dust, it's time to head back indoors.
But for the record, I love it all.
Pit Row
We'll slam Saturday with rushing out of Prairie City on the final checkers and head for the furry of the Sacramento Mile. If I wasn't soo fucking old... or maybe ran with youngsters I'd love to tear up some E Street on Sunday. But I'll go ahead and count it as a win as I limp back over the border....
We are lucky to have both series, and the excitement for each to start is equal for me.
Been that way since the 1970's
Every summer it's a bit of a shock at how many miles there are between events, but I really do enjoy driving the first nine (and then flying the last three). I did mostly drive all the events the first couple of years. Yeah, I used a cheater line a couple times for Washougal (leave the truck in the midwest after Millville, fly to Washougal, and then drive the rest of the rounds), but now I've got a girlfriend, and we both agree that being gone all summer is a little too much.
