Such a weird crash too, looked to be generated out of very little.

Well done Zach, great riding.

Seeing him wobbling after the crash make's me think he has heat issues already. If that's the case i don't see him ending this season with a contract to stay in the USA

Barring mechanicals, it's gonna be a long summer for anybody not running #16 in the 250 class. The O train is rolling boys.

Do they swap out motors on these 250s between motos? Sure seems like they take a beating.

Strange how close the riders in the World Championship run where as the Nationals all the riders are about 5 to 7sec. apart.
Aren't the MXGP tracks smaller on the average?

Honda's hired gun gets a dnf in the first moto. What a thrilling way to start the series.

Where's the wacko 24-0 thread? Lol.

Bummer for Jmart, but he still didn't seem like his old self or up to the JT$ hype. Really hoping he comes out strong in moto 2.

Can someone explain to me what just happened to John Ames on that last lap? Other than crushing every hope for fantasy success I had....

Doubt that, many Euro guys struggle with the heat at first. He had great speed

Looked like to me, he hit his head. I never thought heat related.

Dungey. Probably the best role model our sport has ever had. Class act all the way.

true many euro's have heat issues but not at Hangtown though, most of them get issues later on in the season /summer.
I hope i'm wrong and he just hit his head but i highly doubt he would had such a big hit to the head in that crash that made him wobble.

15-30 seconds shorter... for example today GP lap times were in the low 1:50's and Hangtown was 2:10-2:15

It's hotter this year than it usually is at Hangtown. Wouldn't surprise me if it's heat issues or if he hit his head.

Never the less he was riding well before he went down.

That's slightly downhill as well as a big table and he got spit off at high speed. No doubt in my mind he was seeing stars when he got up.
