Hey guys!! At the moment there is nothing really.......I have an offer to go over to Australia and do those races and still have some time to do the last few outdoors. I spoke with Steve Dixon over at U Tag Yamaha and right now its too late to get anything really started in the GPs. Wish I had more positive to talk about but that is all there is. I am pretty bummed about quite a few things right now and if the Aussie thing doesnt work out I think that I am really gonna hang it up and look for something a little more consistent in the work department. Sometimes we all just need to grow up I guess right???

No its not time for you to grow up! Its time for you to race. Keep your head high , you can do on a bike what most people dream of. Something will fall into place for you.

Never grow up! Just move on to bigger and better things. Apply the work ethic that you have for moto to other things and you will be just as successful. There will be a time to move on to those bigger and better things but just be sure you have explored all your avenues because you will never get back to where you are now.

Just being realistic guys.....thats all. It would be really difficult to walk away from this sport but to be honest, as many times as I have been down yes I have dug deep and brought things back but there is only soo many times that I can deal with this and keep my head up and keep getting up everytime I am down. This is a sport that I love and it has made me what I am but things arent looking too great anytime soon!

Can you race the 250 class? I would think if you could, you could get some local support and just stay out west? I know it's a step backwards, but maybe better than getting a real job at his point?
Damn, you should really be testing at one of the tracks getting ready for Anaheim . You should be having your crew come tell me how I'm on pirvate property and I need to stop taking pics. Something is wrong when a guy like you can't get a ride and J-law can. You know I'm a huge 338 fan, but serioulsy.

Best of luck to you whatever you choose , I know it's got to be a tough choice but the older you get the more the uncertainty wears on you.

What would be ideal if you could get a test riders job and slip your way back in to a good ride.

Yes I can race the 250 class but at this point it just really wouldnt be worth it if I were not on a Team that was on or near the same level as PC or FC. To be able to race with most of the guys in the 450 class you need a good bike but in the 250 class I feel that the bike is a huge benefit to everything you can do. If its not in the cards then like I said its just time to move on to the next chapter in life. Thanks guys for wondering whats goin on with me and my ride for next year.

Damn, that sucks to hear after your "comeback" last year.

Your response and attitude shows you have done all the growing up you need to do. Good luck in your future endeavors, wether it still be in racing or another adventure.

How about a stint in GNCC before pushing for an MX ride again next year? You've got too much experience to just turn your back on the sport for good, we'll keep doing the normal, boring everyday jobs while you keep riding bikes for a living... deal?

how the hell does josh hansen get a ride but you don't? Honestly? And I'm a big Travis Preston fan, but I think you should have been higher up on the wish list after your outdoor season.

Give the guys at swift a call maybe they will be big enoiugh to apologise for not keeping you last year and you both can get somthing going for 09...
I though SD would have had a spot yourself on a 450 plus Zach on the 250 would have been a good team. Motovision and relentless Suzuki might be able to do somthing or I think Factory TM are still looking a 450 guy in GPs according to their press release? HAve you tried Roger Magee of KTM UK?

Not doing supercross for a while seems to be hurting you in the US- how does Hansen get a ride? thats ridiculas!

im agreeing with davis224, how has josh hansen and travis preston got a ride before you ?

if the money situation isnt too bad you should just turn up and race the first national and show just how badly u really want this.

if i win big on the lottery this weekend ill give you some support hahah

best of luck to you sean

I say, fuck it Sean. Go rack up a few drunk drivings, maybe even run from the cops, so you get on TV. I'm sure you could get a good ride with Yamaha if add some street cred to your resume.

If nothing comes your way I will get some other people involved and personally sponsor you for the Nats...This kind of BS kills me!
Besides... what "real job" do you want?

I really appreciate the offer to all of you who have thrown out suggestions and support. As far as waiting til the outdoors go I just cant wait that long for me to be racing. With getting a real job, I really cant tell you what I want to be doing other than riding but things need to get going soon. Im just like the rest of you guys with bills and car and mortgage payments!! haha Thanks again guys!
