Does anyone know if you can take the forks and shock off of a 15 KTM 250SX and put them on a 2018 KTM 250SX? I don’t have time to get the susp done before this weekend. Thanks in advance!! I’ll have both bikes so swapping out my front wheel too will be fine.

Forks will work. Shock from the 2015 will be longer I believe.

Correct about the shock.

And With the fork, I believe you will need the large axel and wheel spacers as well that the 15 is using.

Forks will work, but they are shorter and as Joe said the axle may need to be changed. I am not 100% sure when they changed axle sizes, but easy to check. Shock will not work.

The 2015 axle is the small axle. 2014 was the last year with the big axle.

You probably should break the suspension in some but seriously give the stock stuff a chance! It's really good! I have had 16s and two 17s ktms all with airfork and my current 2018 250f is so much better than the older models!
I run forks around 10bar depending on track c12r12 stock settings.
Shock 35mm sag with around 106 with me on. High sped 2,5, comp 17 and rebound 12-15 depending on track.

Try it, but they will be a bit stiff when not broken in. And bleed both airscrews 10mm and torx after first practice. Good luck ?

When going from small axle to large axle you need 20mm triple clamps to keep the geometry the same.
