Fuuuuucckkk bro, like shit I’d rather listen to Cooksey than to hear like  Dickodile Dundee bro down over BJJ. Either way it’s better than Walty.

I’m gonna give this Gipsy Fuck credit for being a raw dog fan of my sport.

If ya don’t like his schtick?

STFU & stop logging on.

Signed,

An Old Dude that still races.

one problem i have with gypsy tales is he doesnt know what hes talking about.

he claims to be a huge Jiu Jitsu specialist and then goes onto his platform and spreads the most unintelligent wrong information for the sport he claims to know so much about.    Had to do with fights, dirty fighters, wada and usada, and he was completely wrong about it.

and i do agree with steve....  you gotta be here attending events, to cover them.   just because he buddy buddy up to a few fast riders while getting to film for a couple years he was here doesnt give him any credibility in my eyes.

I think he has a few studios . One that is his home base or whatever you wanna call it. And then he has one in the US and I think the Cubai studio is new. He has them all over the place so that he can get guests into a studio and have quality audio and video and not have to fly the guest all the way to Australia .

Yea but he's not a race reporter. nor is he trying to be.. He's a one-on-one interviewer who does 3 hour podcasts with famous people from the sport and many other sports. He's not trying to be like Steve and doing something different is good for our sport.

Hate on him all you want but his lists of interviews is pretty impressive. Who else is doing that in our sport?

PS. He's faster than you on a dirtbike.

I never get the sense from him that he thinks he's an expert at jiujitsu or riding motocross... or anything really. In fact he's always talking himself down but seems very curious about the learning process and getting better at what ever it is that he's doing.

He certainly has a knack for getting riders to let their guard down and talk about some real stuff which I don't see happening on any other platform.

Yah as far as jiujitsu,He just talks about how he has gotten really into doing it. And hes trying to become really good at it. He  will use it as an example of how it is similar in the learning process and dedication to other things that he is talking to his guests about.  Maybe if you only listen to or watch 1 of his  shows you might think hes saying he is better than he really thinks  he is. But if you listen to more than a few shows You'll see how he talks about it being something that he puts a lot into.

And the only times I've heard of him reporting on any races were when he was setup at a race.  If you want to hear info on race results and what happened during a race, He is not for you 99% of the time. But if you want to hear riders or whoever , talk  about their experiences and answer some good questions in a pretty relaxed setting . Then he is what you are looking for. Anybody that is really into the sport should find a couple guests they like and listen to those shows to get the best idea of if they like him or not. Or like others have said, just don't listen to him if he's that much of a pain in your ears. I like a lot of his stuff, I also like Pulp stuff, and other shows. Plenty of room for good content out there. And really who cares what he has done before , if his interviews are solid and he gets good guests on  , who cares how fast he was or wasn't? He's not doing riding lessons.

Pretty great that we have more content to listen to I feel I just listened to the latest Gypsy tales with cooper Webb and it was great, also the Herlings episode was a banger as well. Not only that but he has other sports athletes on like Toby price, jack doohan F2 racer Daniel Riccardo F1 and many others. So yeah don’t get the hate lol
