I think he was comparing GuyB to the Thunder Valley flagger from a couple weeks ago.

Nothing will get your attention quite like a wide-open 450 with no one on it...and no idea where it's going next. It brings to mind that video of the speedway bike with the stuck throttle.

It was a cool dance move.

Glad you came out if this one unscathed, GuyBro!

Watching that video above, it looks like the bike flipped right to where GuyB was standing before he went into action. Imagine if he were not attentive and / or was changing out lenses, or whatever else the Photogs are laden down with.

Thanks. smile

I traded a few texts with Jeremy Hand (the rider that belongs to the bike in the photos). He slapped his head pretty hard when he hit the ground, and said that the throttle was actually broken in the crash, so it wasn't just pinned because it was laid over. He thought when he went to pick it up, that it would shut off like normal, but no such luck.

It was a big unexpected, but turned out okay. He said he'll be in action at Southwick, and I'll definitely be there. smile

Guy B still looks like he is in action shooting mode, hand still on the camrea, pointed in the general direction of the bike.

Now the photographer behind, has his camera down and missed out on capturing the action smile

Glad that bike steered clear Guy B

Something else that sucked here is that his bike was pretty wadded up after that. They had to do a lot of work to get him back out there for the second moto. And for a privateer like Jeremy that is money right down the drain.

Don't think he'd spill a drop of his favorite beverage either!
