How many amongst us are devoted proponents of the four/six/seven/+ more string machines?

I saw a bit about Justin Hill concerning the matter and Webb recently declared a Fender as his fave trophy. I hung out with "The Jammer" at Budds last year prior to his HOF induction and he is a proponent too. I cooked him a killer meal. Great DUDE.

I have played off and on for 35+ years with large gaps in riding, was a sponsored skater for many years, and still can rip the ass outta a SLO-100. What leads to being interested in such activities?

What ya got? Rig porn welcomed.

2-American Standard Stratocasters. 1 "Frankenstein" home built stratocaster. And my favorite.. Black Jazzmaster re-issue. I prefer line Line 6 amps, and minimal effects.. grunge, wah, phaser

My current guitar sucks, but just ordered this Dave Mustaine Sig "Rust in Peace" Guitar. Should be a blast to play with my Marshall Stack.

Crappy photo, but these are my G&L guitars. G&L was started by Leo Fender and George Fullerton in the 80's. The strat style is a custom USA S-500 and the tele style is a Tribute Asat classic with a pleked neck and USA hardware. I've played piano and guitar on and off for over the past ten years.

I went to www.guitarriot.com this past week in Cleveland. They had some Victoria amps that blew my mind. Check that company out. They make replica Tweed amps that are sick if you're in to that sort of thing.

LOL! 100% I know the origins. Trust you have some beauties!!! If the Moto non-players only knew... Having a great guitar is as good as a great bike. I wanna see a Hamer or two surface!

Utterly marvelous instruments. Thanks! Glad you revere them for the future.

Well, it was girls wasn't it? I've got the early 80s USA made Mockingbird bass in matching wood to your guitar on the left.

Had a Gibson SG standard, Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop, and Gibson Explorer - all ran through a Mesa Dual Rec and Orange 4x12. "Had"... kinda like "used to be fast"

I have a few lying around:

My first, an Epiphone SG that I rebuilt with nicer pickups and electronics.

Gibson Flying V Standard in a nice mahogany finish.

Hagstrom Viking Deluxe Baritone.

Epiphone Texan on the acoustic side of things.

And my baby, a very custom Strat that I built myself.

Been playing for about 15 years.

I have a Schecter Diamond Series 7, an Epi Les Paul Custom, and a Martin DXK2.

Quick clip below jamming on a Periphery tune.

Been playing and riding since the fall of 1995 (I was 11 years old). I was always better at playing guitar than rider, I've had a Strat, a Gibson Les Paul Studio, but now I've only got a tired Washburn I bought at a pawn shop in college.

I ride more now than I play but every once in a while I pick up it up only to have my two year old want to sit and slap the strings or take the pick from me and stick it in the hole.

I've been riding since I was 10, and playing guitar since I was 15. (That's 36 and 31 years, respectively, BTW.) I could probably have been a pro at either discipline if I wasn't busy doing the other!!! laughing cool

YamahaJT1, here's my Hamer. (Not actually mine, but mine looks just like this)

It will improve on the kid front, Never push... Now that my daughter is 18, blew out her left ACL twice via soccer. She at least she has a terrific "hobby" for the remainder of her life and can play pretty damned well now. Here she is when she was 8.

Nice work/playing, for SURE! looks like you have it set up well! The damned guitar is something you'll keep at after MX... At 54, you'll see you can still shred the axe... The bike gets a bit harder to deal with. Rock on!

That guitar is so sick!!!! I'm a huge Metallica fan and I had an ESP Explorer like this but it was stolen by some fucks.
I'm still pissed about it. Now I just have a Yamaha (lol)
its cheap and I beat it but it actually sounds ok for metal thru my amp... but definitely still kinda shitty. I'll get another ripper when I get the money.

but hell yeah I love to play and I also ride MX I play mostly thrash metal but also all kinds of classic rock and psychedelic rock
