I'm actually riding a works bike today, so I wont be able to finish Pit Bits until this evening (Japan time-zone, it's Monday) but here's a few teasers...
Sadly, the new CRF250R wasn't there. It was debuted the one weekend by a retired rider that works for HRC now, he's not competing in the whole series and HRC doesn't have an official 250F rider...so no 18 CRF250R...

Little question besides the New Suzuki RMZ450 and the new CRF250R are there other "brand new bikes" launched? What is Kawasaki up to with the KX250F for example?

I was curious to see if Honda would forward the bike to Narita's 250 team (the first photo of this thread) after the debut race from HRC, to give it more exposure, since they are doing well.
Looks like they'll have to wait a little longer as well.
Have fun in Japan!
Maybe a bit of photo angle but look at the width at the tank radiator difference between the two bikes

It may also just be the angle of the shot, but it looks like the YZ is missing a kickstarter...

KX250F just updated two years ago, there's a new KX450F coming for 2019, so it might be at the Japan Nationals next year.
I have shots of the new 18 YZ450F and RM-Z450F...
No real trick 250Fs, Yamaha is the only team with a direct factory 250F at the races...the rest are private/supported teams.
I'm actually on a bus with WiFi right now, heading to a track...I'm trying to get this wrapped up. Photo editing is done, uploading gallery now, then I have to write the captions. Expect about 140 photos in this Pit Bits...she's a biggin'
+1. ML, I was lucky enough to attend the 2006 Namur GP and in VIP style to boot - that's a boy scout badge I wear proudly on my resume of moto experiences. Your experience right now trumps mine, ten fold. I feel honored to even say I know of a guy on the interwebs who is doing what you're doing today. I shall live vicariously through your photos and posts. Have a blast in the Land of the Rising Sun aka the Moto Mothership!!
So what I hear you saying about an all new 2019 KX450 is... If I purchase a PC exhaust and either KYB A kit or WP CV and shock for my 2016 KX 450 they "should" swap over to a 2018?
Have a blast man can't wait for pit bits of them beauty's

ocscottie put it pretty much, spot on.
I guess I am just a little bit "jealous".
Please enjoy your time, where ever the hell you are.
