After binge watching Chasing the Dream on YouTube this weekend and seeing the bitter rivalry between Cole Seely and Jason Anderson it got me thinking of the best feuds and rivalries in the sport to date. Who you got?

Bonus points for pics or video.

I was a big fan of both these guys but I have always thought that this was a more one sided deal. It was mostly Bradshaw doing the take outs but he was also faster and coming through the pack and not blocking. These guys delivered the entertainment!

I think those two were fierce competitors, but they respected one another and rode clean when racing the other

Pichon and Everts got a thing going for some year. Which eventually led to the goggle throw incident thing during a South African Gp i believe ? (Don't remember all of this to good, pretty sure Everts got fed up with Pichon here)

Haha how can you not love the jlaw - Dungey rivalry? While it was shortlived, I don't think we'll ever have two more polar opposites feuding.

I seem to recall a story where Ron Lechien and Rick Johnson got into a fist fight in the pits one time. I know they had some epic battles. I remember Lechien brake checking RJ in the S turns at Steel City in 89 (I think).

Mike Kiedrowski / Mike Larocco

That was a good rivalry. Ever more tense because they were on the same team. At the end of one of the mx races Kiedrowski ghost rode his bike into Larocco.

Does a rivalry have to cross the line into dirty riding, and all the nonsense, or just as you stated? I do recall they raced each other hard. Great stuff to watch.

Ryan Hughes vs Michael Lapaglia. Not so much a rivalry but that was a pretty good bro down between the two.

How it was even a fight considering Lapaglia had a helmet on and Ryno didn't is so far beyond me.

A properly placed headbutt with the tip of the visor will pretty much shut down any fight before it begins

Yea- got a distant memory of it- think they clashed, Everts may have fell and Pichon stayed on. Everts was pretty pissed and waited till the next lap or so when Pichon came by- made the most aggressive of evil moves by throwing his goggles at Pichon !! Ha ha- I mean, it wasn't that bad was it? a rock maybe would have been bad - but goggles?!! Blink

That's me commentating along with Kenny Kay. We distributed this video worldwide through my company Stadium Video Europe Ltd. in the 80/90's.
