A career best outdoor weekend for Ryan Sipes:

- 5th best gate pick

- Moto 1: Rode from 14th to 4th and passed Bret Metcalfe back in the last lap. 4th best moto lap time.

- Moto 2: Rode from 13th to 5th to get 5th overall. 4th best moto lap time.

I was most impressed with the consistency of Ryan's lap times and strong he rode in the late laps of each moto. Sipes is now in 6th place for the season, 24 points behind Izzi and 34 ahead of Josh Grant. I hope he builds on this result to finish strong the rest of the season.

He looks really good on the bike and has been improving each week. I'd like to see him podium before the series is over.

I think Ryan is doing awesome, he used to race here in district 17 alot. How about his brother Pooh? He has had a few top 20 rides this year, Good for both of them. The Sipe's are good people. I had the oportunity to hang out with them at a pro-am in Casey Ilinois back in 2006. Be awesome to see both of them on a podium this year.
