I have a 2020 kx250, been sitting on the stand with no action for a few weeks and while I’m waiting on some other things I decided to take it apart and grease the axles, linkage and swingarm pivot, as well as the now frozen steering stem bearings.
Now I always figured grease was grease, but when I took my front wheel off I had to drive the axle out cause it was dry as a bone. Thing is, I wire brushed it and greased the hell out of it the last time I put my front wheel on. Haven’t rode it since then, like I said just sitting on the stand.
What kind of grease should I be using, obviously what I was using sucks. And should I grease or anti seize the axles and pivot bolt?
Side note : maybe this is redneck as hell but has anyone ever added grease zerks on moto bikes?

Swingarm, linkage, and shock bearings get molybdenum disulfide grease (Yamalube brand).
The Shop
The yamalube Molly lube mentioned above is great for those areas. If you are a person that will grease it at least twice a year or don't put a lot of hour of hours on your bike any of the grease mentioned will work. You can even go to auto zone and grab the Lucas oil brand it works well. I have Wal-Mart brand in my bike right now and everything's looked great when i tore apart to rebuild the bike. Wheel stem Bearings, Chassis and suspension.

Lots of success using this stuff...
Bel Ray Waterproof grease, White Lithium grease, and Anti-seize.
Equal parts, it comes out dark black. Very resistant to pressure washing and my bearing look like new every time I re-grease. Be forewarned though, it is a bitch to get out from under your fingernails and clothes.
Sort of an amber color.
Grease all Bearings one Time at the beginning of the Season and never regrease before Winter very long lasting .
