Graphics not wanting to stick

New to -4S-Joe
I bought new plastics last year with new graphics and I really didn’t get to ride the bike because It was in the shop for better part of the year. I had the Company install graphics. On the rear fender the graphics aren’t molding to fender and is lifting from plastic. I’ve tried heat with no luck. Is there an adhesive that I can apply to help it stick? I know as soon as bike hits the dirt it will pack with dirt. I could cut it, but if there is a product that would help it stick I prefer to use it and go that route. Thanks

maybe they did not wash the plastics first before putting on the graphics?

You could try to heat up the graphics, then slowly get them off a bit and put them back on careful. I wouldn't really try it if never done before because you have to make sure that all the adhesive sticks to the graphics and not the plastic. Other than that you could try a tiny drop of superglue but that will make it look a bit messy.

Edit: or go back to the shop and show them they did a bad install.

I've used spray adhesive to repair peeling graphics. Guts seat foam adhesive works great

Liquid contact cement is the hot ticket. Small jar with brush attached to cap. THIN film on both surfaces per instructions and maybe a little heat to get the needed shape/lay of the graphic

Gorilla Snot...lol. 3M also sells an adhesive in a tube. It's grayish/silver and it sticks like a mother but stays pliable. Can't remember the designation but it's better than 1300L (the liquid version of Super 77).

Clean real good let dry then spray some of this of a plastic bag or something and smear with your clean fingers on plastic and graphic, keep separated until nice and tacky...wait a little longer, then press it down and tape it with painters tape, forget about it for two days and it'll be on there better than before.

The easiest and cleanest way to do this is to use rubber cement and a heat gun/hair dryer. Rubber cement comes with a brush and you simply apply it liberally the plastic all the way to the edges. Once it binds after 30-45 seconds, you simply rub off the excess glue with your finger.

Most other adhesives are too strong, make a mess, and are hard to handle. Do it, do it now!
