I was looking at ideas for my ktm and I was kicking the idea of a silver front fender on a modern bike. I ran across the stolen bike story. Did those bikes ever get recovered?

My brother was one of the officers who was on that case back when he worked in that city he said they had found 1 I believe but that's all I ever heard from it

All of his bikes were recovered except the most important - his 2005 KX250. Apparently they eventually tracked down someone trying to sell the motor from that bike on eBay, recovered it and then subsequently rebuilt the bike with the help of Mitch Payton and others.
Sadly, somewhere out in this cruel world is Langston's 2005 KX250 chassis and works suspension, probably frankenbiked at this point.
Thanks Swann. Now that you said that, I remember that being mentioned I believe during a Supercross broadcast.
What's the TLDR on this story? I'm not sure how I'm not familiar with the stolen championship bikes of Langstons ......??
I'm pretty sure they found his PC championship engine on ebay a few years ago and PC re-did the bike for him.
