Having a hard time making pre-picks for this weekend..

So far, I've based my picks around ex GP guys like Dylan, Zacho, Dean Ferris.. But who else are you guys expecting to run good in the mud? East and midwest guys?

Also, if the schedule is shortened, what do they typically change? A quali, and a LCQ?

Also, is Decotis racing?

Unadilla was a mudder last year. Might want to check those results to help you out.

Also, Decotis is not racing outdoors

Todd Waters, killed it in the mud a few weeks ago at the Aus nats went from first turn crash to win

I think everyone seems to forget that Eli is pretty freaking good in the mud too.

Just because we had disappointing results at a muddy mxon doesn't mean we suck in mud. No matter what Europeans will be on the gate, Tomac is still very capable of winning by a friggin mile. Webb is damn good in mud. Barcia is too. On 250s, there are a couple of riders straight from the GPs that I can see doing extra well at a muddy Hangtown vs a dry Hangtown.
450s 1. Tomac. 2. Webb 3. Barcia
250s 1. Lawrence 2. Ferrandis 3. Covington

250 picks would be completely different if it were dry.
450 picks would have Osborn 3rd if it were dry

Yup. Nearly lapped (mud specialist) Plessinger as well as both Barcia and Roczen

Bullshit if he wasn't. Look at his gate picks and position in the first turn in both motos. He finished 4th and 5th coming through a shit ton of riders both motos. No, he wasn't as fast as Herlings in that shit, but he was still fast and passed a lot of riders in both motos and was always moving forward. He didn't get the best gate picks like Coldenhoff. He had the worst of the worst. Tomac actually rode well at the mxon and was still not his normal speed. Had he ridden his dialed in 18' bike I'm sure he would've been better. Given his SHIT gate picks and where he started both motos, coming through a field of Europeans to a 4th and a 5th is not bad at all. When he had periods of open track in front of him, he laid down some pretty damn good lap times.

I wouldn't pick Covington for a top 5-7, but since this is a mudder and he's fresh from a lot of time in the GPs, I think a 3rd could happen if he gets a decent start. I can see Lawrence winning with Ferrandis 2nd in these conditions.

Also, Dean Ferris was one of the best listens in a while. Dude's a humble beast!

There are two kinds of people against dirt bikes, those who never tried and those who weren't good at them.

the funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it

That new bike he rode that weekend didn't help him at all. Not saying he would have won or anything, but that 2019 new Kawi took a while to get right by him.

Am I the only one watching the 450 national motos Saturday thinking Jerklings would have made a complete mockery of this class in that stuff? Lol
