Man, he completely summed up my feelings towards Alessi:

"Yeah, you know he comes up there all cocky and shit and thinking he won. I don’t know, I think obviously a moto win is awesome, but the goal is to win the overall, and he fell short of that, and I don’t think he was aware of it. So I just said, get that thing off, let’s get the real winner’s bike up here. It’s all-good."

I got through the first paragraph and gave up. That Alpine Stars add on the right side was driving me NUTS with all the flashing.

He's basically been saying he's been "outdoors only" this year and he's all about it.

And I agree with him. Alessi is gonna win a bunch. Dungey will win and be consistent. Grant will win and be fast.

Reed is gonna play this one smart. And you saw it in moto 2.

It'll come down to who doesn't throw it all away.

Reed rode great. I don't think Alessi can cut through the pack like Reed did but if he can, watch out. I don't think any riders are going to cut Mike any slack either when they battle.

Nobody can cut thru the pack like Reed.

He's the one to beat this year.

I don't know but it looks like Nyk Wey had time to stop and take a picture of it.

#800 should take some notes from Reed. That was a great read and he is so humble and tells it like it is. He even compliments Alessi. You don't hear chad say "I smoked every one out there." He gives credit where credit is due and doesn't sugar coat anything. If you are a fan of moto I don't know how you can not like Reed.

What you talking about Willis??

Reed cuts thorugh the pack like a dull spoon. Don't kid yourself. I also disagree with you on who is going to win this title. Mike Alessi is my pick.

that thing is excessively annoying. In FF you can right click on it and uncheck PLAY and LOOP and it will stop flashing.

Reed is going to be tough to beat, but, I expect (and hope) this thing goes down to the wire with half a dozen winners.

Dungey, Mudflaps, JG to name a few that could grab a moto and maybe an overall.

There isn't anybody in the 450 class who has championship winning experience like Chad does. He hardly ever wins on raw speed, but most of his championships were won intelligently. Combine that with top 3 speed on any given day and it makes sense that he's the championship favorite.

His head games with Alessi will be epic this year. They have already started!

Agreed. I like Reed more and more everytime he's interviewed. I'm still a Stewart fan but dang it, Chad's the one riding and he's the man right now. I'm having a hard time not liking him even though "being a Stewart fan" I'm not aloud to. lol.

Like a Dull Spoon hey!

So what would you say about the two championship contenders that were on his back wheel in 11th and 12th at the begging of the race?

Think one made it as high as 6th the other still in 10th when the race ended.

Reed worked through the field with a bit of care, making sure he didnt get taken down by making a stupid move, Alessi beat him by about 16 seconds, Reed would have been about that distance down after the second lap when in 10th place and didnt lose any more time on Alessi by the end while moving through the field.

Cant wait to see how close Alessi gets when they both get a start together. Actuall didnt i see a Picture of Alessi on Chads back wheel throught he first turn in Moto one, how did that moto end?
