That's awesome man! I'm hoping to gel with that bike too. I actually really dug my 16' Kawi 450 , but at that specific time , and not having much seat time....it was more then what I wanted to handle on the track past the 10min mark. I swallowed some pride and had to step off them for a while. When I finally get the chance to ride one.... it'll be a toss up between that bike a TC 250.

With the stock map plug in the bike it was a handful at the track for me at first, I threw in the mellow (black) plug and haven’t looked back. It just gives the bike so much usable power that doesn’t rip your arms off with every crack of the throttle. The motor is seriously impressive. Throw that on top of some bitching brakes, awesome stock suspension and the consistent hydraulic clutch you’ve got a bike that’s very confidence inspiring. Hopefully we can link up, after this weekend I’ll be throwing a fresh set of tires on it so you should really be able to get a feel for it.

Right on my man! Glad you are digging that bike. I'll make sure when we meet up to have my 125 ripping and ready to go too. They take a bit to figure out....but man , once you get the hang of it , sooo fun!!

For sure Ben , was really cool seeing you again too. Glad you made it back up here. I may be getting in touch with you either later winter or possibly early spring on that Kawi. I'll get in touch for some ride days this fall and winter too if it ain't to bad outside.

Im sure its a solid bike (we will find out) But I mean as far as looks go. It has looked generally similar for 10+ years.

*Kawi guys throwing there flat brim hats down in rage*
They only look dated if you are looking at them from behind all the time.

I was a hard core, die hard 2 stroke guy UNTIL I bought a leftover 14 rmz450 last year. I ultimately ended up trading it to an 07 rm250 2 stroke (sold that one a while ago), but Ill be buying another 450 when I decide to ride again. Just much funner to ride a 450 to me.

What was your last honda before the kawi ?

Just curious because i'm planning to buy a new bike at the end of the year and i don't know between the 19 CRF 250 or the new 450 Kawi which everyone rave about. Afer years on ktm i am looking for a balance chassis with much better handling
