It's bike week, so check out main street off A1A. They usually have bands each night at the bars there.
The stadium allows soft coolers (14x14x14 or smaller) for beer, food.
Same! Flying in on Thursday a couple days before the race and staying for the week. Got trackside tickets and all.
I've wanted to go to this race in person since I was little, so I went all out on this trip, and made a vacation out of it as well.
Awesome! We will be there too.

I'll second that Rooster!
-You can BYOB at the stadium
-Main Street from about 4:00PM to 3:00AM. Bike Week Dude!
-There is a ton of Vendors for Bike Week in front of the stadium, you can demo all the new street bikes on an unguided ride (about 8 miles). Since I'm local I bring my own helmet/jacket/gloves, but I think Harley and maybe a few others can give you a jacket and helmet to use. A few years back I rode Harleys for like 4 hours straight, rode every model and engine combo I could.
-If I'm driving home after the race, I'll park across the street (One Daytona) as it's less traffic and easier to get out.
-If want to go to the beach, I would recommend going North to Ormond, or South to New Smyrna as they are MUCH nicer and less touristy then Daytona.
-There is a TON of other motorsports events going on around the week of the SX race, dirt track, Enduro, Daytona 200, so you could check those out.
I'm in too! Pumped. Gonna be an expensive week with the family starting with SX! But only got one shot with the fam so what the hell! Enjoy the trip fellas!
See you boys there! Flying down Thursday. Have VIP tickets to the Arnold Palmer Golf Tournament on Friday. Daytona all day Saturday! Never been to the race before, pretty pumped.
Take the short trip down to Ponce Inlet lighthouse area some time during your time there. Have dinner and drinks at one of the restaurants and watch the sun set over the Halifax River. That’s always one of the highlights of my Daytona bike week trips.
be careful! I had the worst hangover in my life after seeing TP wipe out in the whoops. He was 3rd or 4th every lap until the whoops. TP hit the gas HARD and passed back up to the lead every lap. The crowd went nuts. He crashed SO hard in those whoops. The golf cart went to pick him up and he got on. One guy yelled "travis you always get carted off!" He got off the golf cart and started limping/ walking to the pits. The entire place went absolutely APE SHIT!

Was there as well. Tedesco was leading and Travis would blast up to him in the whoops. I thought he was going to kill both of them.
