Thaks to jmx411 for putting the idea into my head. Asked the wife and she's in for going to the National. Woot woot! So the question is, for any great relationship where the woman wears the pants, what's to do in Pittsburgh Sat night? Obviously want to go somewhere/see something cool after the race. I understand that the city has kind of re-vitalized itself, so whats to do down there? Anyone have any ideas? Stay Sat night and head home Sunday sometime. Any locals on here with some tips? All I've ever done is deliver or pickup steel in the area. Pretty sure hangin' in Dravosburg at the mill Saturday night isn't the thing to do.

Southside is probably your best bet if you're looking for nightlife, although it'll be littered with college kids. There are a ton of bars in the area if you're into that sort of thing, on Carson St. Fatheads, Hofbrauhaus, etc. I also really liked the Penn Brewery, too.

scooter5002, I have been to Steel City twice. Wish I could tell you where all to go but not real sure of the names of certain parts of town. I just know that Pittsburgh is an awesome city and was surprised the first time I went how now that city is. and if you are a baseball fan the Pirates have possibly the nicest stadium in baseball.
