Continuing from my previous post: https://m.vitalmx.com/forums/Moto-Related,20/Blurry-Vision-after-Two-La… where people suggested wearing glasses.

Which goggles have the biggest frame? I currently have Eks brand but the frame is similar to an old Scott 89. Which brands offer more room betweet forehead and nose to accommodate glasses?

Anyone gone the contacts route?? Wear glasses for long distance stuff, never bothered while riding before but my eye sight is slowly getting worse.
Never wore contacts before but I think they be better than glasses under goggles??

I’m on the VSN 2.0 goggle from Rocky Mountain and those fit glasses really well without being an actual OTG goggle. Bonus they are cheap as shit, bad news is not a lot of lens options.

I went the prescription insert route: https://rxgoggles.com/ and they are awesome. I was worried about putting my glasses underneath, in case of a crash, as it's extra material than can cause damage. I also don't do contacts, so this was the perfect solution for me.

All the Leatt goggles fit over glasses. I have a set of the 6.5s. Also have a set of the Scott Split, my first set of OTG. The Leatts have better features.

Man I switched to contacts a few years ago for riding and wish I had done a lot of years before that. It is way better for me.

I tried a pair of Leatt 4.5 and that seems like a quality pair but that frame did not fit well in the eyeport of the TLD SE4 helmet.

I got a small-framed set of glasses, with a distance-only prescription, specifically for riding. I can wear them even under the kids sized oakley goggles with no issues. A big problem i've had in the past is that the higher-end goggles ride on the edges of my helmet (medium size) and don't really sit on my face. This lets dirt get in and start bouncing around, eventually lodging in my eye. Back when I wore contacts, I tried them for racing but always had problems due to dry eyes. Also tried the prescription goggles and HATED them due to bad depth perception issues...My 2 cents...

My dad uses the Oakley Frontline goggles and they accept glasses. The frame actually has a notch on the inside that is specifically for the arms of glasses. We tried to modify his airbrakes to no success, then had him try my frontline's as they are designed to fit glasses. He loves them and the ability to have the Prizm lens is a plus.

Just a note, since the Frontline tear-offs are hard to find, the 100% Armega tear-offs work...the pin holes are exactly the same.

I use Oakley 02 goggles and they have notches in the frame to accept glasses. I tried Scott spilt otg but they stuck out so far the foam pinched my nose and they didn't fit in my medium size Bell helmet.

I have tried contacts but found they dried out if I didn't blink enough and then they would move on my eye and I couldn't see anything. If be 3rd gear tapped about to hit a jump with no vision and I'd have to blink like mad to get it back into position

I got my kid a pair of Scott OTG goggles for his glasses and they barely work. It takes forever to get his glasses to settle on his nose with the goggles. Just my .02 cents.

I wear Scott OTG and they work fine for me. Likely depends a lot on the shape of your glasses but mine fit right in and don't move around at all when I'm riding.

My Fox Vue's are fantastic over my glasses. The airspace is also great, put in a lot of motos with glasses on under those two frames.

I have very small glasses and the Scott prospects kinda fit. I had to cut slices in the foam for the arms to fit in.

On another note do the leatt velocity 6.5 fit over glasses ? They say they do?

Thanks

The Leatt 6.5 fits well over my glasses. One of the reasons I decided on purchasing a set shortly after they came out.

I was about to order a set of the leatt velocity 6.5 as they state they fit glasses. Now I’m not sure should I try these instead ? Anyone that has tried both have a idea which ones work best with glasses. Mine are are pretty small glasses. Thanks !
