Earlier today there was a thread where someone posted a youtube video they had taken with their GoPro mounted to their chest protector. Now I can't find it (Yes, I've tried using the pitiful search feature here).

Anyone remember what thread that was in?

I don't have the thread link handy but GoPro sells a specially made chest harness for use with bikes. There's a nearly 10 minute preview video on their site with a guy running it through the woods. If I remember the clip you're talking about was like 14 seconds.

Thanks, guys.

I think I'm going to try this set up. That looks awesome. Agent, did you use the GoPro chest strap or did you mount it to your chest protector some other way?

I bought the chest cam brace, and it works really well. Not just for moto, but pretty much anything you can think of.

I didn't use the chest strap. Just used one of their helmet style mounts and put it on a flat area of my chest protector. In order to get the angle right (you have to angle it up pretty high) I used the 2 way adjustable arm that is provided when you buy the Go Pro.

Here's another one. This one I had mounted a little bit higher, just under my Leatt.

And here's some helmet for good measure....

I mounted mine underneath my visor. Its a little tight, but I think It offers a better view than on top.

Great videos, Agent! Smile

This is a video me and my dad made last year testing various positions with a Go Pro cam and alot of duct tape. In front of the mouth piece on the helmet was the best position we found I think. Sucks if you faceplant with the camera on though, haha.

Mounted on the Thor Sentinel at approx. 6.40

Correction: It sucks for YOU if you faceplant with the camera on. It is awesome for the rest of us Wink

This is one from the last time I raced. I may have to try putting in on my chest protector for a different view.
