If you can't get them on the phone or by email get your money back from Costco and buy another.

lol. Yeah, that would make too much sense...

Or, if they "suck" so bad, and somebody has a way to get their money back, it seems like a pretty easy fix.

Do people get on here to bitch, just for the sake of bitching?

i had a rock blasted into my case's lens and it cracked, i sent them an email asking if the hd and non hd versions were the same and had a response within 2 days confirming that the case's lens is the same between all models and they had one in the mail for me that day. good customer service. this was 3 weeks ago so it was recent.

It could be an "ID-10-T" error.

I'm surprised by that. I've called and emailed them on numerous occasions and never heard anything back. I got a little insider info from a friend who knows some of the upper-management there and he basically said that they're so tied up with distribution that they hardly bother with customer service at all. I love the product and have bought three cameras from them, but company contact (let alone customer service) is nonexistent.

Knobby... those cams are awesome. Just because YOU broke it, can return it at Costco for another and don't want to email the company (which is set up to handle these things via email, for better or worse) you want to come on here and say they suck?

that's to much work. why get a new one the same day when you can spend a week trying to get in contact with them and then have them ship you the missing part in which you have to fix your self.

no, no , getting a new one from costco is a bad idea....

I sent them an e-mail earlier late last week (Friday I think) and they got back to me within 3 business days like the website states. Fill out the online form, send it, and be patient. The guy that e-mailed me apologized for it taking 3 days (not long or out of line at all) and said theyve been extremely busy.

Looking at your tag line, I'm wondering if the dog had anything to do with it.

So why not just get your money back and buy a new one somewhere else?

I've had nothing but good experiences with them, when they were first released they had an issue with the helmet mounts breaking, a quick emailing asking if i could purchase another set of mounts, i received a reply shortly after stating that they had changed the compound of the plastic, and that a new set of mounts were in the mail FREE OF CHARGE...TO AUSTRALIA.

Really impressed with the service, and wish i had the money for a HD go pro.
