Looks like the #259 had a short stay with the Gas Gas boys and signed with Monster Energy Yamaha for the 2021 and 2022 MXGP seasons

He couldn’t find any other number, other than Bubba’s old number?

It’s a number.

You do not see many athletes walk away from a Red Bull sponsorship. Good luck to the Hoff.

He used to ride with #25 back in the mx2 days if I remember correctly. But when they tried to combine mx2 and mxgp into a superfinal every GP a couple of years back, he changed it to #259 (since Desalle allready had #25).

Yes true, both rode with 25, but Desalle used that number a few more years so he could stay with it. Glenn finished that season as P9 in the championship, so he made that 259.

Glenn is also a big bubba fan so. Cool story and still nice to see the 259 around.

Massive fan of GC259, but unsure of this move tbh

Hope he performs well on the blue pig. He has so much potential like he showed at Assen 2019.
