When did they start using Glen Helen as a national track? I can remember back to the USGP there that Roger DeCoster promoted in 90's, but little fuzzy on when it became a national track.

Are the hills around there habited by rattlers to stop cheapskate fans from walking in, as there's no fence around property?

If you want to see rattle snakes go climb around on the rocks up on the hill above the Lakewood Co national track. I was pulling out some rocks with a bobcat a few years ago and there were Rattlers everyplace. Dry

Oh man you got that right - the hills around the Glen Helen facility are heavily infested by rattlers to stop the cheapskate fans from walking in.

Just kidding with you. Here is a recent photo of the Glen Helen facility. As you will see in the photo the Glen Helen facility is surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. I doubt that any of the rider would be concerned with Rattlers.

if there truly is someone, it wouldn't be the first.... Ron comes to mind, with the temporary living quarters in the announcers booth on the old supercross track.... eek
