Jimmy albertson is doing awesome! Yes he has had some rough years, but that is the past. This year is showing he has what it takes to win. With little funding he is hanging with or beating factory racers. And winning lcq's and beating top riders. This guy needs credit for his efforts. I grew up racing with him and his brother, and they are great people! Go get the jimmy and Greg!!!!

jimmy, short has had many goes at a factory ride and me personally not a big fan of shorty he's consistent but just never looks agrresive enough to take the win from anyone

Jimmy Has had some chances on Factory bikes as well ya know? Just a few years ago.....didn't he run the entire national season on a factory Honda being number #702.

BTW.....I agree that anyone who can even make it onto the gate and score some top 10's...."should" get some sort of factory backing. But the economy and just the way things are......it just isn't feasible.

Short is not gonna win any races. You know what you get from him when you sign him, solid rider.no drama, etc. IMO i think he s the same rider factory bike or not and if i am a business man who owns a team either spend 25grand on a well prepped bike like he is on now or a high dollar factory bike. easy answer for me by saving about 100 grand lol.

oh i defo agree on you know what your getting with short he is very consistent but if i was honda i would give him a little help but not factory support and promote a stock "ish" bike gets the public buying them then and thats what honda want sales

He doesnt need a factory bike or ride. Just some more support so he can continue to improve his own effort with Merge Racing. He hasnt had the results to deserve one this year anyway.

Also He only raced a factory Honda at 1 race in 2008

Both solid riders and i agree, maybe more support. The economy sucks and the bikes these days are really good.Partridge got on a rch bike and not sure if that will make a difference in his results. You can not blame a rider for getting what they can, but if the results are not there i doubt its worth the investment. I doubt if short and jimmy are struggling in the money dept.

Pretty sure Jimmy had a shot at factory Honda already. Shorty is WAY more consistent. Honda doesn't care to win LCQ's.

x2 and why spend the xtra money on a factory bike, when a really well prepped privateer bike gets the same results. And the privateer bike and parts the average joe can buy and it makes the stock bike better for sales. Factory bikes are sick but the average joe cannot get the parts or afford them.

Honda does care if u win lcq's, that is there bike getting tv time up front, and the guys in the booth talking about u, and all cameras are on you. The should at least give some support, maybe they do. I know short is a solid rider, but lacks aggressive behavior. Albertson has shown he is not scared of dungey putting a wheel on him. Just a thought! Rch picked some duds and needs some better talent.

Jimmy has really stepped it up these last two weeks. Before this year, he never really struck me as a great supercross rider. He would always show his magic outdoors and try to get through supercross....if he made it through at. But when I watched him in the LCQ at Phoenix, he looked completely in control, even with Dungey banging at the door. He also was using his body a bit more than he used to and relied on his lower body a bit more. And last night when he couldn't get his bike started on the line, he put his head down and actually came through the pack really quick the first few laps. I think he got held up toward the end so he didn't make it in. I was really worried because there were going to be about 4 other really fast guys in the LCQ besides Dungey and I didn't know if he would be able to run with them. Yeah there was big pileup in the 2nd turn but when he saw Dungey coming up behind him, he knew he would have to get Filthy Phil if he wanted to get into the big show. He made a charge and it paid off big. And his results in the mains the last 2 weeks confirm that. I don't know if he deserves a factory ride over Short but he definitely deserves alot more support than what he's getting. Whatever happens though, I hope he stays on a Honda. He's been right at home with that bike all year.

Jimmy's been doing it wrong. He needs to leave his bike under his pillow at night so that the factory bike fairy can come along and replace his production bike with a factory bike.

Factory bikes for everyone!

DJ no need to be hating! He is living the dream, and your washed up. Do u ever wake up and think what u could of been. Jimmy is making it, and everybody else we raced with flopped. Tons of wasted talent, you, metcalf, liggit, Clark, Alger, just to name a few.

I watched him win a couple lcq's. His style looks a little ragged for a factory ride. Isn't a stick up the ass style mandatory for that?

What in the fuck are you on about. All I said is that Reed couldn't get Wilson a factory engine. How is that hating or even worthy of that comment you just made

Yeah because factory rides are so plentiful these days... The support teams are just fine, look at Davi.
