Man I really wanted to ride Saturday and Sunday. Then my chick didnt wake up untill 11 on sunday because we had a late night and then we had to go to a concert with her parents.

All my friends were at the track and it just rained Saturday.
Have yall been in a fight or broken up over the track? Do yall bring your chick to the track?

How do women really feel about MX?

Bro man up!!!

If you love you're girl you'll go to the concert and never complain about it. As I believe you did.

If you think you don't want to stay together because if this then call it off. Otherwise always sacrifice for your lady...

Whats more important?

I'd do anything for my Wife!! Riding doesnt even come a close 2nd. If you are a pro and mx/sx is you're job then you know where to be. Otherwise this is a hobby, treat it as such!

I always spend Saturday with the girlfriend and ride on Sundays. Seems to work for us. She definitely has no interest in coming to the track to hang out on a Sunday haha

"How do women really feel about MX?"

What a silly questions. How about 'How to men really feel about MX'. MX isn't gender specific. MX/Riding is a hobby, an activity, a thing you like to do with your spare time.

The issue is your girlfriend doesn't share the same passion you do for a certain hobby (MX).

My wife is an avid rider since 16, her last 3 jobs have all been for major MX companies, and we know tons of other girls that are just as passionate about bikes as anyone out there. For me personally it has always been important to be in relationships with girls that share hobbies and interests with me (i.e.: riding) as that's such a major part of my life and I prefer to share those moments with my S/O.

Others prefer to keep their hobbies separate and have 'me time'.

Recommend you work on what is important for you and your relationship goals. Find out what works for you and her.

If she gives you shit over riding it's not the one. I've been with mine 12 years and she knows the weekend I am going to ride one day unless we had other stuff planned well beforehand.

You get one chance on this planet, spend it doing what you want or what someone else wants.

I’ve never had a GF restrict my riding much and my wife didnt restrict my riding too much either.

What really did me in were our twins in 2015...I’ve got 10 hours on my new 2015 YZ450...

At the end of the day there is always another weekend. Don’t worry too much.

If she's trying to control all your time then it's time to cut her loose. If those plans were set a while back and she just followed through with them, then you need to get your priorities straight.

My girlfriend would come watch me practice for hours while my riding buddies were often at the mall or somewhere because that was where their girlfriends wanted them to be. She wouldn't miss a race and even helped clean the bike between motos. Married her...

Balance. Is key. What’s a no go is if they throw B.S. “alternative plans” at you last minute to F up your ride day. That’s a big ‘ol punt.
I get grumpy if I don’t ride, so better for everyone if I do. The smart, “keepers” learn this over time.

I dunno, ASK HER?

chick not waking up till 11am, and this also dictating your schedule doesn't sound like a recipe for success though.

All depends really, was you riding before you met her or did you start whilst you was with her? The way I see it, if she knew that you rode when you got together then she knew what she was getting herself into, she knew what you did at the weekends then she'll have to toe the line unless this was prearranged. Now if you was together when you started riding then she has the upper hand, she's hoping that if she nags & moans, the smelly, dirty, time consuming, money burning hobby will be just a fad & you'll quit because her moaning is doing you're head in.

Do you wanna be the Aplha in your relationship or a lap dog, coz I'm pretty sure if you were a Pro rider making a ton of money, she wouldn't be late getting up.

I had to go through a lot of women before I found one who was actually interested and wanted to participate in my hobbies. Life is too short to spend it with someone who isn’t like minded.

Lol thanks for the advice guys. Shes a great girl but I was faster when I was single. I am going to start telling her ahead of time when I am going to ride and maybe add her on the race track facebook so she knows when its open and not open. There is no chance she can ride a bike lol. If she breaks it off I will stop for a while.

I don't think a woman will break it off over the track, its not like cheating really.

Why the fuck did you wait for her to wake up!? Most tracks open at 8 or 9. Could have thrown down two 35 min motos and been back before the hag woke up.

My girl wants me to ride, she bought me a bike so I would ride more, she loves the track and the days I go to mountains with my buddies she is all for it. She has my attention all week and at least one day of the weekend.I would do anything for her and gladly skip a ride day if she asked.
Even my ex-wife thinks she is perfect for me.
I hit the lottery with this one.

Bring her out to the track in this nice hot and humid weather. Should take her 1 time then you can rag on her for not wanting to come out to the track with you and your friends and not wanting to do things you enjoy since you went to the concert with her. Reverse psychology.
