Hey Beast, I know you have never been this OLD before, and you'll never be this young ever again either.
So I'm not going to give you that "you're x years old? Just wait until..." speech.
Getting "older" does indeed stink.
But just for the fun of it, what is old to you in your world?
Hope all goes well for you, and you heal up quickly.

That is what my doctor said it might be the likely solution but refereed me to talk to the sports medicine specialist. Looks like the days of skiing, snowboarding moto jet-ski might be going out the windowSick

On the plus side I am back home resting up now and able to put some weight on it with my brace on but it still hurts like hell trying to bend the thing.

You'll know more with a MRI which the specialist will have you do first. You could have soft tissue damage, PCL, MCL, ACL.. meniscus tear, etc.. All common injuries in moto no mater what your age.

Looks like that will be done after the new year once the swelling and stiffness subsides. The biggest hurdle for myself is finding lite duty tasks at work as my job involves being on my feet the entire shift and the dept. does not have much in the way of desk work.

If it makes you feel any better, the desk work is probably going to kill me in the end. I hate being in the damn office all day.

I hate desk jobs as well. but my current job involves lifting twisting and walking with up to 80 pounds repeatedly nonstop for up to 8 hours a day as well as team lifting 150 pounds. great workout and you get paid doing it.

Cracked me open repaired the mitral vavle. Wired sternum back together. I've been hitting 150 balls a day at the driving range for mobility

Wow, you got back fast. My dad has had two double bypass operations and ten stents. My future is kinda of mapped out.

And screw those guys at AARP. I don't need mail each week reminding me I'm old.

Personally, not being dead has been awesome, even with the aches and pains and limitations.
