I think Weege needs to be in the booth with Carmichael. His style has always reminded me of the legendary Howard Cosell. Plus he has so much passion and knowledge of the sport.

Carmichael has sharpened his game too!

Carmichael was a mess the other night I’m not sure what you’re talking about. The goat is still the goat but he made more mistakes than Sexton on Saturday.

Remember we are all pencils, getting worn down one letter at a time until you reach the eraser with nothing left to sharpen... Everyone makes mistakes and can improve. Ricky is good at analyzing conditions, rider maneuvers and scenario analysis... Id image it's not easy to be a commentator for motorsports, particularly supercross; so much happens so quickly!

I would love him in the booth but he doesn't have the racing experience to replace Ricky and he knows too much about the riders to objectively commentate a series like this.

Quad races on the other hand.....

If there was a show about flaggers....

I'm thinking that the OP is saying not for Weege to replace Ricky but to replace Leigh Diffey which I'm all for.

I love Weege in the Outdoors, but Diffey was good, Ricky was Ricky. Can we move along from critiquing the commentary every week? They’ll never please everyone.

Weege has the info on the sport that they need , Dylan Walsh was a perfect example last week when he was up front in the heat and lcq, weege would have known he was kiwi racing for a British team running the same number as bt

This has been my complaint for a long time. They talk about "racing", but not the actual race going in front of them. Early on in the race, there are so many things happening, and they still find it necessary to about anything but the action unfolding. Ralph was the worst offender, but last week was brutal as well. Talk about the damn racing while it is actually happening, please!

Also, no to weigandt in the booth.

Not that I have anything against Lee or Dan, but I would personally like to see someone more relevant to the sport in the booth. Weege or Blair are also my pics.

Down votes? Really? I’m referring to the days before live tv. Early and mid 2000s. The webcast was great. Im surprised folks didn’t like it.
