The Genova SX is this weekend, does anyone know if they will have a live webcast or live timing and scoring please?
Here is the link I have found http://www.offroadproracing.it/genovasx.htm

Thank you for any help.

I'm pulling for Christophe Martin. He's on the A-Team.

I will be very surprised if BamBam or Trey don't win. I am thinking Honda is going to sweep the podium with Wilbur thrown in there.

Greg Aranda 30 is super fast indoors, but has been off the radar for over a year now.

Cedric Sobeyras! Haven't heard that name in awhile. Canard needs to win this one.

Jason Lawrence is smarter than most give him credit for. I'm sure his attendance money is a nice check plus 1st class airfare.

Interested to know this as well. Website isn't exactly helpful if you do not speak the local language it looks like.

Who knows....maybe Jason is using some of these overseas races to warm / self check to see if he's ready to do some SX here in the states? Like I said....who knows? Hope he shows up.

Well, Soubeyras, Izoird and Aranda are the best "real" euros you can find in SX...

+ Valentin Teillet.

Im intrigued to see how he gets on racing the West Coast SX next season.

I thought Paulin was supposed to be focussing on SX at the end of the GP's this year, any word on that or is he only doing Bercy?

I don't see Teillet being as fast as Soub' in SX.

Paulin is currently training for Bercy, should do ok but not great.

Dont get me wrong, i know Will is a great sx rider.
But these offseason overseas races tend to be kind of dirty riding. And i dont really think he can handel that.

The americans race to win.. The euros race to beat the americans.

Soubeyras and Aranda aren't bad at SX but thats because they aren't quick enough to get a decent GP ride. So they tend to stick to French nationals and euro SX.

Tixier could be quick if he gets a little more aggressive.

True, They're not willing to pay to be pro riders... They prefer to get paid, instead. Weird, right ?

I know these guys pretty well. They make a lot of money from October-February doing these SX's. They have this type of racing figured out, much like I used to. They won't beat Trey or Justin but they are legit in this format.

Aranda and Soubeyras not quick enough to get a decent GP ride ???

What a joke !

And yes, they are very good at SX, and it has nothing to do with the fact they don't ride anymore the GP serie...

hahaha, the first attack by frenchmen in 200years.

It doesn't make them bad riders. I could name half a dozen riders around europe who are quick enough to be 10-15 in the GPs just like Soub and Aranda but choose to get paid rather than pay to ride for points in GPs.

Its a good decision. Smart, but it doesn't make either of them one of Europes best. If you think that either those chaps would have anything for AC, JH and the like if they chose to ride euro SX you are deluded.

Aranda was deep inside the points in the years he raced the MX1 GPs - some top10s every year (in a class with ~10 different former GP winners)
if thats not quick enough for a decent ride, I dont know what is (apart from the factory riders)

Aranda was faster than Cairoli in Paris Bercy SX, dude...

And Soubeyras and him were able to easely qualify for some US SX main events in the past few years... Where was Antonio at this time ?

Euro SX is very specialized. Just because AC and JH are better overall riders doesn't mean the same rules apply in 25 second sx's. If they spent any amount of time preparing for that and gained a tiny bit of experience, they would be fine but to just think they would dominate from the start, I think you might be surprised.

Yep. They're the best challengers for the U.S. guys.
