The Geico team are expected to run new gear for the outdoors, any rumours as to which company they will go to? I've read both Shift and Answer. I'd like to see them in Astars.

Apparently due to internal changes within the brand! Thoughts?

I know We’ve all heard about this for a few weeks now, but has any one got any real info? A PR? Info from a credible source?

Canvas mx would be nice so they could make their own style and for example not use the hideous A-stars gear

Other than needing to pay the team 400k or so (guessing on that). And that's just talking real dollars, not bonuses or product or man-hours to create any of it.

You're both right... The team manager co-owns Alias or something like that

I have always admired that team so yes, that would be awesome, but unfortunately not happening. With our series sponsorship of MX in 2018 and SX in 2019, though, we have a couple of irons in the fire. Hopefully Zacho can do us proud this summer with that big #1.

Serious question, not trolling. I'm curious why you or anybody would care what gear a team or rider for that matter wears? MX has been a major part of my life for many years but I don't think I could name the gear a single team/rider wears. I really could care less but it's evident others don't feel as I. Just wondering why?

You answered your own question when you said "others don't feel as I". If no one noticed, there would be no sponsors.

The two main partners in the Geico Honda team are Ziggy from Factory Connection and Mr Grondahl (can't remember his first name).

Grondahl is a successful businessman who started Planet Fitness gyms - big time $ those franchises are everywhere. He is the person (owner) behind Alias MX which is the connection you guys are speaking of.

That would be a bummer. I like their gear. Only got one set, but I really like it.

Big time companies go out of business
I always wondered why Geico was wearing Alias, a company that doesnt support the industry. Now it makes sense. I figured Alias wasnt goin to last long without dealers
