Gear for 6’5”

Edited Date/Time 8/31/2019 12:17am
I’m looking to get a few sets of gear and was wondering if anyone 6’5” 195lbs has ever had a problem with shift or fxr gear being to short ?

Just FYI. FXR's designer is 6'3 and usually makes the arms of the Revo and Helium jerseys long. I complained about this, but in your case it might be great. Pant length shouldn't be a problem with FXR.

Shift/Fox run a little small I found. TLD is good for long.

i'm 6'3" 190Lbs. The Fox Flexair gear fits good. XL jersey....34 pant. perfect! Shift is the same.

I'm 6'6" and 220lbs. The Shift Black label gear fits great. It would be my favorite gear if it wasn't paper thin and easily destroyed after a single ride. Their jerseys are a slimmer cut than most, so an XL will be fine for you.

Pant length doesn't really matter so long as the pant legs stay in your boots. I used to wrap my pant legs with athletic tape to keep the pant leg from pulling out of the boot when I bent my knees.

Klim is the only gear manufacturer that makes true 'tall' sized gear but they only make this for their out-of-the-boot pants.

I am 6'4" and 215 and have never had problems with any brand of gear fitting just fine. Your over-thinking this...

Fox, Thor, Shift..etc..all fit just fine. Just get the right size..

I'm 6'5" and weigh 195. The FXR works great for me. I would recommend it.

The Shift Blue Lable gear is amazing for a couple of rides. It doesn't hold up very well but it is super comfortable and fits amazingly well.

This is correct and awesome, I’m 6’3” and FXR is great. The only gear my leather heat shield reaches into my boots Smile

6'2 so may not be much help but Shift Black Label has slack in the sleeves so I would imagine it has plenty of room for 6'5

6'4 220.. I size up XXL and 38 pants for a bit more room for braces, etc. Fasthouse, Alias, and Fly all fit fine

6’5 235lbs. I wear 34 waist in street clothes, but for moto I wear 36 pant (currently Fasthouse) and their 3XL Jersey. Fasthouse jerseys are cut slim fit and the 2XL is too short in the sleeves and tighter than I like.
