i do it properly too, inners washed, helmet linings taken out and washed boot buckles cleaned under and washed inside if required

guess what i spend Sunday doing?

pair of white Tech 10s and a fox v3 helmet, boots drying out on my radiator now. Totally waterlogged and caked in mud.

had to do the deposit, refunded once cleaned satisfactorily and returned.


he is a riding mate, but still hoping to expand

You're cutting it pretty close if you ask me. You signed up specifically to ask random people for their dirty gear.

Go to your local tracks and offer your services. Might have better luck there.

Listen I’m not into this kind of thing by any means, but for anyone looking for the honest deal here, for just an affordable fee of $5 per set of gear sent in I’ll rub one out into it and then clean it to kill the evidence. It may be more expensive, and it may be weird, but isn’t it worth paying for the peace of mind?

So my buddy who I've ridden with for 8 years or so won't let my knee braces in the cab of the truck when we carpool to the track and sometimes its my truck.Same for my tech 8's but you would clean them all for free! Cool.

Maybe i should charge for it then, I always said for free because im not bothered about the money and thought id get more customers.

the boots and helmet i cleaned at the weekend have been returned now, and he has promised them back to me next time they are dirty. He also said he would recommend me to some others.

I know i said it earlier, but i thought there were more UK members on here for some reason.

Remember when Carmichael was sick, shit himself during the Moto, and still won? Would you have cleaned that gear? Personally I would get a glass door freezer and put it on display at a museum. Maybe sell some scratch and sniff stickers to go along with it.

nah, not a troll, genuinely enjoy cleaning stuff like this. To really get into the details, some stuff i enjoy more than others

there is something about muddy boots, how they look, then getting them as clean as possible for someone to wear and look good, for them to get muddy again

and since someone mentioned it, gear from people that wash only, no fungus thanks.
