Anyone have one of these one industries gear bags laying around they dont use?

Any suggestions on something that fits most gear, that doesn't cost Ogio price to hold smelly ass boots? This old things gotta go! Bought in 2013. Lol

I have yet to find a gear bag that truly fits everything. My old Fly bag was close, the newer version I got is smaller it appears. I can get everything in it, but my boots. But I wear knee braces, neck brace, chest protector, etc. so it takes up more space. I take 2 sets of pants/jersey with me, goggle bag with about 5 pair of goggles, and then a couple pair of socks, compression shorts, etc. I am sure there is a bag big enough to fit all this with my boots too, but the fly one barely fits in the back seat of my truck as it is. Luckily I have a ridgeline with the trunk in the bed, so I just put my boots in there.

My favorite bag of all time was a mid 90's Pro Circuit bag. It was nothing but a glorified hockey bag but it worked perfect. Zippered compartment on each side would hold one boot and a huge center compartment for everything else.

I have the TLD/GasGas Albek and it fits EVERYTHING …including boots & helmet!
GasGas bag on the right/old TLD bag on the left.

The new TLD bags aren’t cheap; but, they work as well as my old Ogio 9800/9900. This is the 1st bag I’ve seen that is as good as those old classics (the original circa 2008 Ogio bags that were AWESOME).

Fly Roller Grande
I second the the Fly Roller Grande. I can fit both of my Tech 7s (size 9) in one of the end compartments. I think if you have a bigger boot than me you may need to go with one boot in each end instead. The main compartment holds my helmet, 5 goggle case, soft chest protector, knee guards, and 2 or 3 sets of gear. I keep hydration bladders and such in the other compartment since I'm primarily an offroad guy. The quality isn't quite OGIO but you really can't beat the price.

I have an old Scott bag that my dad had back then. Probably the same bad just different coloring and labels. Mines black with blue and purple trim.

I know they are expensive but I bought an Ogio 9800 well over 10 years ago now and its still going strong. Fits all the gear, including neck and knee braces no dramas.

Buy once, cry once

I’ll add another vote for the Fly roller grande bag. I use one for motocross and snocross and it’s jam packed: one set of boots, two full sets of gear, knee braces, goggle bag…there’s not much it won’t fit. Also, I like the mat that you can pull out to stand on when you’re changing on snow or mud.

I use my old hockey bag for my road racing gear. I've had it since I was 14; its no frills but I like that it has much more ventilation in the boot pockets than any of the moto bags I've had plus the stitching and zippers are real beefy. Hockey bags may be worth checking out but I'm not sure you save much money on them.

The FXR Transporter bag is perfect. Has a built in Helmet bag area, a zip up bag for your boots and still plenty big enough to fit knee braces, goggles, couple sets of gear, chest protector and some other stuff. Its cheaper than the Ogio by about $100, and if you PM me, I can get you a little discount on it as well.

Dear Ogio, please bring back the 9900. Mine from 2006 is getting a bit ragged.

Yeah the TLD ones are nice!
The plain black ones down here in Australia are only $320, so for you guys they should be even cheaper again taking exchange rate into consideration.

I have a Fox gear bag that I bought like 12 years ago. It's actually pretty awesome, but it was pricey. I put my boots in the side pockets when they are clean, but when I'm done riding, I don't put them back in teh bag. I just toss them in the bed of the truck w my bike (and sometimes the gear too if it's muddy.) Doing that has helped keep it pretty clean, after all of these years. If I didn't have a bag like that then I'd either use 1 of my old hockey bags or just a big plastic tote. It's probably hard to justify a few hundred on a gear bag, but if you get a good one, they are pretty nice.

I have the fox shuttle and it's 12 years old......still does it's job. These are over-engineered for what i need. I do like the separate compartments for each boot. Good stuff

Don't hold your breath, the 9900 is long gone.

But there is a bigger bag they just released this year called the Rig T3. It's only slightly smaller than the old 9900 (volume wise).

Hockey bag for about $40. It even has the team Canada logo on it. No compartments or anything fancy. Plenty of ventilation when I unzip it.
