Now whether an MX/SX hybrid as described would be a good track in general is a different question.

But like you said he wouldn't go back even if it was legal. Going back to 250 isn't a option for him because he never felt good on a 250 bike. Also if I'm not mistaken guys like Tortelli, Vuilemin, Reed skipped the Lites to race the big boys class from the start. Times have changed but I'm sure Gajser has it in him to do the same. But there is still lots of work to do and now he knows that. Bring in trackbuilders and some German/French SX specialists to train with him so he can learn from them as much as possible. We also can't forget that Roczen was already racing SX on 250 when he was 13 in ADAC SX races. Not the same beast as US SX but he knew a little bit what to expect.
