Not starting a war but he was almost implying that they were afraid of SX. I don't think they are. AC never said he wanted to come to the states. JH did quite a bit in his younger days.

Never said they were scared, they have crazy skills. Why come to the USA when you have it made where you are racing now. Same as tomac going to the gp series. Makes no business sense.

So one guy states an opinion that's impossible to prove and a bunch of other guys then state he is wrong because of their opposite theory that is impossible to prove. Never really understood that.

Guy 1: "I bet 20 angels can dance on the head of a pin!"

Guy 2: "That's bs! A pin can only hold 10 angels maximum."

Guy 3 "Bullshit Guy 2, how can you be so wrong or even think that?"

Guy 4 "Angels can't even dance you idiots."

Guy 5 "I don't understand why people have to think their angels are better than everyone else's angels. I'm just a fan of the angels."

BobbyM: "In the old days, the old school archangels would have kicked everyone's asses."

Herlings went over to the USA a couple of times to practice SX in his early MX2 days , didnt like SX as much and crashed hard a few times and got homesick .Thats what Herlings said , its not my opinion
You still think Roczen has anything to do with his decision to not go to the USA ?

I really hope Gajser's experience doesn't change his plans to race in the US full time.

The top ten guys in 450 supercross all have 250F supercross championships. For Gasjer to jump into the 450 class cold turkey up against that kind of experience level is very optimistic thinking.

Gajser is gaining a reputation as a crasher in MXGP also. I'm glad he's ok but I don't know why anyone would be surprised or think it was strictly because of the type of track.

All that extra outdoor practice makes things sketchy indoors for the euros .... Sorry to see him go down, but I'm sure he learned a lot from this experience...

yeah , last year he had a lot of almost crashes , this season he isnt so lucky and had some nasty ones and a lot of crashes/ mistakes. It surprised me he didnt come over earlier to train on SX tracks , as he had the time to do so
and would be better prepared etc ..

I havent heard if he is okay but that section was dangerous. Anytime you have to slow down for a jump or a jump section you are asking for trouble. Anyone that has rode understands that, having to slow down for a jump makes it very difficult to judge the jump and how much you have to slow down.
That was a very dangerous section. In years past they would launch back into the stadium into a sand section. The track was too narrow in some areas. And the split start takes up to much floor space in the stadium. Also it is a lot easier to get a good start with only 10 guys in the first turn than all 20 and then join the other 10 when it comes together. The track was sketchy and dangerous

Stupid comment. You seem to think that Tomac wanted to go to MXdN if not for Monster Cup. You are flat out wrong. He's doing the races in his contract. Get over it.

X2,. The boss signs the checks. If it bothers you that much, pay him more and you can tell him what races he rides.

Tomac clearly doesnt think enough of the US fans to represent the flag, which a lot of people are unhappy about, and he used the ' i have to be ready for Monster Cup' as his reason... falling flat on his ass after 4 laps and missing the rest of the night.. some will say that is karma.

Yes, karma for not racing his dirt bike when people wanted him too. What a piece of trash.

Totally off topic and no offense to RC4 but besides one lucky shot, I can't remember a good track designed by Ricky.

No GP guys should ever do this race. This "MX/SX hybrid" stuff is complete BS. It's a SX track with no whoops and a joker lane. It's actually more dangerous than most SX tracks due to the high speeds at the MEC. It's a joke and GP guys should never show up unless they honor their original plan and really go to a SX/MX hybrid track.

MXGP champions can't race SX Regional championships. That is a rule in the AMA Rulebook. So Tim Gajser is mandatory to race the 450 class. On the other hand I think Gajser made a mistake due to train most part on his home SX track. He should've trained with European SX Specialists like Soubeyras, Thomas Do, ... and on the real SX Tracks in France. Because like he said his SX track at home isn't close to what they are racing in the US, the French Test tracks are a bit closer.

On the other hand he also should've raced Bercy, Genova and maybe some SX Tour races to be competitive against riders like Soubeyras, Teillet, Coulon, ... To feel how it works. Now jumping into the deep between the best of the world at supercross is ludicrous! If I'm not mistaken he only raced two indoor races, Arnhem and SuperMotocross in Germany, and those tracks were pretty shitty. So all things considered he did great speed wise but because he came in as a real greenhorn rookie his mistakes were payed in cash!

https://youtu.be/7G9j2UDt9gY?rel=0
Never heard of that rule, is it new? And only for MXGP champs or also MX2 (because obviously both Musquin and Roczen were MX2 champs).
Either way I don't think he would go back to the 250 even if it was allowed.

Will be very difficult for him though to adjust to all the different things at the same time. The big class in supercross is no joke and making it though the races that class almost 17 consecutive weekends in a row without crashing and getting injured will probably be his biggest task.

Still I see no reason why he can't make it. He's that good. If he goes over next year, it will be at about the same age as Musquin.
