Lots talk here about it being the 'budget' option from KTM, but its not really that budget..

What if this is an exercise in pricing, but not necessarily to make the GG cheaper but now they can make their premium product (the KTM) more expensive??

They push the price of the KTM up, if you think thats too expensive you can buy a red one, thats nearly the same thing..

Maybe..

They can't push the KTMs/Huskys too high because they are competing with the Japanese bikes.

I like the idea of a more basic bike for a better price.
(Isn't that kinda what Honda is doing with selling the 20's alongside the 21's?)

I think the GG may be the best looking bike out there.. And did I read the website correctly? 62HP??

Three more colors to go then KTM will every color of bikes that are sold in the US. Who are they going to buy out next?

Unless Bajaj comes along to bail out KTM, then buy up white KTM and now red KTM

Can someone explain to me why calling this a red KTM is always met with such negativity. Is that not essentially what it is?
Maybe because it's always called a red KTM as a negative, and maybe cause it's seen as completely unnecessary to call it a red KTM.. Everyone knows the situation

What do the handlebar mounts look like on KTM's SX line? Are there rubber bushings?
Pardon my ignorance.

Rubber bushings, identical to what most Japanese bikes have.

The KTM/Husky mounts have a lot of twistring issues due to their design. The solid mounts of the GasGas clamps will fix this, but they'll transmit dramatically more shock and vibration to the rider.
Would the Luxon bar mounts work on the 2021 GasGas clamp and, if so, would the rubber cones be usable also to help with the shock/vibration issues?

No, the stock GasGas clamps are solid mounted and don't have the right geometry for the rubber cones. You would need to buy a new top triple clamp to get rubber mounts.

I called it a few weeks ago. 2021 GasGas in Sx will be Dungey, Mookie and Barcia.

Mark my words!
That would be a smart move on their part!

Pretty sure Honda’s been serious since 17. They built the all new 17 crf , hired ken roczen, now a generation later after themselves claiming they would build the lightest bike in the class with the 21 they are still 10 lbs off the ktms. They are the lightest Japanese bike tho to their credit.

They even hired and moved management all around at the top of the racing department at the same time if I remember correctly.

So to say ktm is killing it purely because the Japanese are allowing them seems wrong.

Red hoses are currently in the works with ETA around Christmas.

We do have White, Blue and Yellow kits in stock for all the 2021 GASGAS 50/65/85/125/300/250F/350F/450f models.

weird, for the last several years so many people decide the best bike on which is the lightest. MXA has beaten it into the heads of everyone. Reminds me on how the media has beat into our heads we are all going to die from covid. The power of the media. Glad I am not on the lightest bike is the best bandwagon. Seems exhausting.

Less weight certainly isn’t more exhausting. Losing that weight can prove to be though! Denying it’s beneficial may be as well!
