...this is how a professional does it.

Note the Factory Brembo components.

This is the shop bike over at AEO Powersports in Murrieta CA

If I'm lucky, I may get to ride this thing over the weekend.

Trick shit. Well done on that build. Are the master cylinders for the brake and clutch brembo too?

They look like Brembo components to me.

Guys, with due respect.... not being smart ass.... but all these pretty additions, make any difference on the track? Most is just cosmetic, I can see. Brakes, really, as pretty as they might be... standard are amazing. Black engine, it's black. Won't make it faster, in any case, whom can use a 450 to it's fullest anyway. Just wondering. Great way to fritter $$$ away, for sure!!

Nah but once you experience the power of the brembo, you realize what the fuck you didn’t have before riding that power.

Looks great. My biggest question is the carbon fiber hangers. Wonder how that feels on the track, and long term reliability being so brittle.

They are prototypes under development and testing.

Some things on that bike are obviously for appearance, but internally there are significant differences from the production bike, the factory Brembo brake components are used on the KTM team bikes. It may be a waste of money for some, but at some levels this stuff does improve speed and lap times.

To all of those people who say the stock bike is best, I give you this- most of the changes to dirt bikes lately are not to produce more power, but to increase comfort level and handling at speed. No one wants an ill handling bike entering the whoops at 50 mph.

It is scientifically proven that I ride faster on a trick bike, even if I cannot use the stocker to its full potential. Science.

Is this the same one that was stolen from them and posted here a couple months ago?

OR if the stocker wasn’t that good in the first place.

Example- I didn’t think I needed or wanted a Vortex ignition on my stock KTM 450. I thought it was just some bullshit, the stock mapping was fine.

UNTIL I tested a Vortex. Then I realized how much the stock mapping was mediocre.

It’s the progression of dirt bikes. When you try a part that is better that allows you to ride faster for longer, you realize the stuff you were putting up with wasn’t as good as you thought. That applies to all skill levels.

Looks amazing. Congratulations. I have almost as much fun fixing up my bike as I do riding and I think some people don't understand that part.

Couldn't agree more!! Love your bike and you did an amazing job on it. I rode a buddy's new KTM 450FE last weekend and helped him get his suspension dialed in. He has cone valves and the new trax and his bike handled amazing and I loved the new trax. I've had a number of trax shocks and always felt that they weren't a huge upgrade over my stocker revalved by Billy at Powerband so I stopped getting them a few yrs ago BUT this new trax was really Fn GOOD so I ordered one on Monday and can't wait to get it. I also have the CMT engine mounts and I honestly can't feel any difference with them but I've read things here and there that they actually stiffen up chassis which is the exact opposite of what we want on our steel frame bikes. I've always wanted the factory Brembo brakes but the stock Brembo stuff is pretty damn and the best brakes that I've ever had so I've never pulled the trigger on them, not to mention they're super expensive. Your bike looks super trick and good luck with it. Enjoy :-)

Just to clarify that bike is not mine.

I wish.

It belongs to AEO, it is the upgraded version of the bike that was stolen from their shop two months ago.
