Dubya edge are like 650 per set, so not crazy bad.

Did I hear/read right that the 450SXF & FC450 stock mufflers do NOT have the perforated cone insert that the MC450 does? If so, anyone know if you can remove the cone without jacking up the muffler? I’m thinking it’s tack welded in place.

GREAT! Did it allow the bike to breath better on top-end? To me, stock, it feels like the engine kinda backs up on itself and I’m curious if this cone is the reason. Switching to the vented side cover was my first step and it was a huge improvement to clean shift power upwards. Thanks

Not that bad. Like YZ133 rider said, the wheels are 650 a set, 150 a set for tires, 120 a set for rotors and 50 a set for the sprocket. So probably $2000 in wheel assembly.

Put a Husky connectivity unit on my GasGas. I’ll try it out tomorrow to see how well it works.

At least use the black CU cover from the Rockstar Edition - that blue messes up your whole bike ;-)

Finally cracked 4 hours on mine. Suspension is getting better with every ride...pretty impressed with the air fork so far.

Granted this is also my first steel frame bike, so take my opinion with a grain of salt...not my first set of air forks though. Rode Honda's first iteration, not a fan. Ridden the SFF-spring fork on the Suzuki's and they weren't bad, but I don't remember anything that really leapt out at me as "wow this fork works well"

Biggest thing with the GasGas so far is how straight it tracks....I swear I could hit any square edge bump and this bike will just drive right through it with a stable and predictable reaction.

Don't want to admit I maybe like the kool-aid that is the steel frame bikes....but 21 years on bikes and I don't remember the last time I had one that made these characteristics as identifiable.

Picked up the last 450 they had on the floor last week. Put 2 rides on it so far and I'm very impressed. It's a noticeable handling improvement over my '16 350. For now I'm leaving it almost entirely stock as I break it in. Got the map switch, bar risers (since I'm 6'3"), and got a heavier spring coming.

This was more of a proof of concept. I will probably find a different place to mount it. The unit works great by the way. It really wakes up the bike.

You can buy them from any KTM or Husky dealer.

So.... I was going the direction of buying the connectivity switch and was going to mount it behind the number plate and I found out through a KTM connection that they're not going to have for next yrs bikes so I traded ECU's with a buddy who's selling a 19FC450 and had it dyno tuned for my bike. Talk about waking the bike up, it's a night and day difference.

That works too. I wonder if it's only going to be on the Factory and Rockstar Editions?

Got a little bored and ole girl got a few updates. Seat cover, graphics, some pretty back ass Rims Plus wheels (in my opinion) can’t believe how great these bikes are.

Anyone making a vented airbox cover yet? After comparing it to the KTM it seems ridiculously restrictive.

Chickenstrips721, have you gone through the powder coat on your frame already above the frame guard?

If so and I'm not seeing things, my Husky has done the same, one side has worn through and one side has worn through and I'm polishing up the steel with my pants now lol.

Seems pretty shitty given how long old YZ/CR frame paint/coating typically held up. I've noticed a lot of near new KTMs/Huskys already showing rust underneath or around the pegs or swingarm/linkage bolt holes, just seems like shoddy coating?

I used an "old" KTM hour meter bracket and shortened it a little bit - works fine!

Spent the weekend upgrading my bike. Ohlins suspension, new plastic and graphics, new seat cover and frame guards. I think it turned out pretty good.

Well, first race out of the way on the new bike. Took home the overall in +25 C. Road to B class continues....

Suspension is breaking in well, and I won't lie I actually like these new WP forks quite a bit. They work really well, especially in the gnarly bumps and ruts that happen at Spring Creek. Of course setup is key as with any bike. I really notice how stable they are at speed. The bottoming resistance is surprisingly good as well.

I kind of like these Maxxis tires too. They have a lot of feeling zone when the tire starts to push whether it is front or rear....which makes them really predictable. I think my next set will be Pirelli's as that is my usual go to but we will see.

In the meantime, love the new setup moto67e, bike looks AWESOME!
