Move over Ryan Villopotto.

After Pulp Show 423

RYAN HUGHES is the greatest retired racer ever.

Change my mind.

RC is the GOAT, and he is retired, doesn't that make him the greatest retired racer?

Can’t vote for RV being the coolest, maybe the most dickish. I gotta vote MC coolest with Doug Henry right there as well.

Naw your missing the point. It’s how cool/good are as a “retired racer”. Not really relevant to how fast or cool they were as a full time racer.

RV sinks beers, is relatable on social media, rides any sort of bike from 2 strokes, trail bikes, pit bikes and generally gets out and about, as oppose to the serious, private, generally pissed off full time racer that he was.

My opinion has done a 180 of Ryno the last couple years. Retirement goals.

I would put my money on Ryan Dungey if the race was tomorrow, and they raced 30 minutes + 2 laps.

Brown/MC/RV are all about dead even for me. Slight edge to Brown. Dude races anything and everything, plus is a full time trainer coach at the leading training facility in the world.

He was my favourite rider in the old crustys videos when they came out. His hip jump whip style was incredible for that era.

clearly none of these people listened to the Pulp MX Show with him. He's currently number 1 without a doubt.

Not sure if I care to change your mind, but Ryno? Did he win anything? Not sure when he actually started and stopped.

RC rode over his head without hesitation if thats what it took......not many do that.....I believe that you could drop him into any era prime for prime and he would figure out how to win......including Herlings era......

He is one of the few racers I've seen that would do what the fuck ever it took to win...no matter what.....He would elevate his speed even with today's racer i believe....He refused to lose more so than the others......

So many guys missing the point.... RETIRED... not past accomplishments... Ryno is, well, living a helluva life in retirement. Have you seen the 2, yes TWO, yoga instructors he is "rooming" with as of late....

Either some of you are missing the point of this 'greatest retired racer' title (or maybe I am haha)

It's got little to do with achievements or their results if they raced now, it's more how they are living now they're retired and how much fun they're now having..

Not the GOAT on a bike by any means racing wise, but overall skill and just being a cool dude, my vote is for the Josh Hill for sure

Yeah, I see it now after all the posts. Chalk it up to crappy, confusing post title by the OP.

Brown still getting it, Sipes racing all sorts of different disciplines, Pastrana building the Nitro Circus empire while racing or flipping anything with an engine.
