Closing the track after a crash is not a good sign. Hoping for the best.

Horrible news if true. One friend of mine made the trip to GH this week as he is attending world vets and is racing. Reading this thread sure makes me a bit nervous.

It's always hard hearing that kind of news. I'd like to think if my number came up I'd want to go out with my boots on.

I was supposed to go today and ride with a friend. I came out to the garage to load my bike and there was a big puddle of oil under the left fork leg. My friend messaged me that someone had died and the track was closed. I was at Cahuilla last Sunday and a man died as well. Sad times.

Awful news. It was fairly windy this morning, I wonder if that had something to do with it.

Do you know where Chris Ow is from if that is indeed the persons name?

The rider down was from Santa Cruz. A very good man from what I’ve heard from his friends. RIP dirt rider

Shit, this is horrible. I'm less pumped about driving out there tomorrow for the World Vets. Maybe the rain will slow things down enough to make it a messy but safe event.

Planning on racing this weekend too, hopefully we can all raise up this mans memory and have a moment of silence for him. We are all human when we swing a leg over the bike and that’s the challenge we all love to face. Rest In Peace Moto brother.

Speed, or wind or any outside variables except the rider swapped after jumping onto the top of the jump and got out of shape and was thrown from the bike at an awkward angle and landed hard enough to suffer his injuries.
Help from several people doing CPR would not of saved him. His injury was fatal.
A Trauma Surgeon could not have saved him.
I spoke to friends he was with. I stayed with the rider until he was taken from the track.
We did everything to be as respectful to him at this time as we could. I’m sorry for the loss and sitting there 3 plus hours believe me makes you think. I stayed with him until they left so he was not alone.
Everyone of you is special and deserves the upmost respect. Pray for him and his friends and family. God Speed
