I voted Fro, but grant was great as well. Both are legends and a great asset to the sport. Great ambassadors.

I quite honestly expected to dislike Fro this weekend... I despised the Sheheen/Emig combo in Supercross. And yet, I felt like he did a fantastic job. Both are good.

If this is Emig's gig for the next few years that would be awesome. He didn't seem happy about losing his Supercross job, so if this is something he is happy to do, all the better for everyone.

Been tied up this weekend so just watched the race and must say in was a pleasant surprise to hear that old voice again. I fast forwarded to the gate drop and knew instantly.

Can’t vote on this one. GL was great, Fro is great. Glad he’s back in the booth after losing his slot in the SX series

Emig did a much better job this weekend than Langston did.
Grinning Like Emig's first win in Supercross. He did a lot better than McGrath that weekend too!

I think we need another option of dumping rd5. Great guy but it’s obvious and robotic .

Fro struggled at times, however he did give more technical and line selection insight than GL usually does.

Yeah, this seems lost on a lot of people. Fro did the commentary up to 2013 with Weigandt, and the two of them jumped right back like they'd never been apart IMO. I like Grant and I like Fro, but they are very different.

Here's some 2013 action with Fro.

I voted Fro, because he’s a smart man who doesn’t take his medical advice from unsourced click-grabbing IG stories and tweets.

Fro did really well. He had an instant rapport with Weege and seemed comfortable. GL was always on point too. I can't say I prefer either one.

Agree with the comment above, stop trying to force Ryan on us. Liked him as a racer but he's not cut out for TV personality.

My opinion is the GL has been on repeat this season and even last season. Just saying the same stuff over and over and over. I think the change is good and i like emig.

I remember seeing a special on Jeff's work with a speech therapist and ever since that I've always been impressed with how he is able to produce under pressure. He had just a touch of rust on him but I think he will get that buffed out over the next few rounds. He had big shoes to fill but I think he did great.

Def preferred Emig. Apart from GL's personal views, he felt stale on color.

David Bailey will always be GOAT to me.

I know he had cut back on using it, but GL's absurd reliance upon the phrase "Crafty Frenchman" showed his limitations as a commentator. Falling back on rote turns of phrase instead of contributing something insightful to educate the viewer is just bad form.

And no, I couldn't do better, which is why I'm not a commentator.

I too felt he was kind of phoning it in, but all things considered with the virus and travel and politics....everyone is a bit worn

But yeah, he's been phoning it in

I agree

Jeff performed really, really well, not unlike RC when he sat next to Leigh Diffey. Weege let Fro be Fro, and you could almost feel how Jeff was more comfortable in that environment. Crazy how much better those guys are when not paired with you-know-who.

I voted for Langston, but it's a real close call over Emig. I think Emig does a good job as well. Emig just says "right?" too much. That's my only complaint with him.

How else would he be able to sell his coffee?

Well, we don't know Fro's position on vaccination.

Weege said that Fro wasn't required to get vaccinated, since he wasn't exposed to the outbreak at NBC the previous week

I was really surprised how well Fro did this week. Never disliked him in supercross but if felt like a different delivery for outdoors. It didn’t feel forced or like he was trying to put in some special performance, he called the race as a person with experienced insight and the fact he didn’t feel out of places says to me he nailed it.
