Per Anton.

Thoughts?

It probably doesn’t mean much. But think someone local to a venue with a SX license would give it a go?

Chris Canning raced a 125 at Daytona and was running around 12th I think in his heat. It's still possible to qualify on one

When does KTM begin to actually got to AMA about putting 250 2t in the 250 class. It seems KTM as a company would have more pull at this point. I know it’s a dead horse.

Here's my thing. I feel like if you at least let them run a modded 150 with the 250's it could create a 2 tiered class like motogp did a few years back. It would allow privateers the ability to run a bike that wouldn't bankrupt them if it blew let alone to mod. All your team guys are obviously on 250's than should a seat open up unexpectedly you could chose from the best of the 150 guys. It a idea. A few flaws but could be made to work. Motogp did.

They've got 250 Four Strokes to sell.

And, they can sell all the 2ts they make, be it KTM / KTHusky or KTGG. So, I doubt they'd use their 'pull', but, I wish they would.

I'm pretty sure I read that (quite a few) years ago, KTM did show some support for equivalency, and, reputedly promised to Not put their Factory Team riders, or Support Teams on them. I think it was as far back as when Tommy Searle was in the USA?

150s (as the 2t limit) 'allowed' in the 250 class? No, (up to) 250 vs 250, is what it should be. And, (up to) 450vs 450.

As I write, repeatedly - well, 'ad nauseum' many probably would regard it as - there should be Equivalency in the Highest levels of our racing, in All classes, when the vast majority of Amateur racing, has long since had Equivalency. It will still be a sea of 4ts out there, they don't need any handicapping of 2ts to be competitive.
