That Maddo surfing in full gear just looks like an EZZA photoshop.

How many bikes ended up on the ocean floor? Different bike in the shot were he enters the ocean and "surfs" the wave.

None, they had airbags to keep afloat, they tried different bikes with different combos to see what worked best.

No bikes sank, there were CO2 inflated air bags that were deployed to float the bike if Maddo fell off the bike. There are a couple of photos of them inflated. The engine would be rebuilt if it was submerged, but no bikes were left at the bottom of the ocean.

Do you suppose they used his motorcycle to tow him into the wave?

I don't have to wonder why you people are tools looking to make fun of something you don't have the balls to do.

You jump into a positive thread about a really cool stunt and start accusing people of making fun of Maddo, and we're the tools? Uh, ok.

Lol is the surfing picture really a photoshop? If not, then that is bad ass.

But I would've atleast tried to air out the wave and see what happened. Not like he didnt sink any bikes doing this stunt. Why not try one for the last shot? I know plenty of people that backflip stand up jet skis in the surf so why not try it on a wet bike!?

Catching a nice barrel would have been more Impressive.

He's going to jump a wave once they've fitted the wings and parachute.

With all the hype about this I actually wasn't that impressed. Concept is cool with the bike, but riding a motorized vehicle into a wave and out of it just doesn't seem that big of a deal to me. I've watched waverunners do that for years. Granted I've never ridden a mx bike on water and have no idea of how challenging it is to ride one on an ocean. So maybe there's more to it than I'm assuming.

Riding a motorised vehicle into a wave and out of it isn't that big of a deal.

Riding a motorised vehicle that doesn't float into and out of a wave is.

I agree with twizzler.

And Robgvx... if you read above, 2 guys say that there were airbags attached to the bike so it floats.

I still don't get why it's such a big deal? Just seemed like a different style of a jetski to me. I must me missing something, too?
