Every blow hard said they were gonna be there fucking jammed. Maybe 15 good people...but a total queer show of internet no show's with "big hat no cattle" never showed!



The lounge at the tree raged.....but fukk all the too cool "talkers" that let the party down! Stevem????

I met in the first "gathering", on time, with my all time favorite, Carl Stone and a TOTAL surprise, mxfreak! (longest distance traveled award), b_q365 & his Dad Ron, ctaylor. We adjurned the meeting, disapointed about the repeat of the Freestone National-style MotoDrive Gathering flop(sorry Cherie and yosmithy).
I re-viewed the meeting area an hour later and found the following suspects:

Old friends: Jay(500Guy), Paul(PD441),GuyB
Met new Drivers: famous BobbyM, P, Shenzi(Matagascar doesn't count as distance traveled), hammertime(big, mean, w/fangs), indymxr, Kiki,
Reminiced with Ron Joynt and crew about racing Byron when there was sawdust!
No shows: fcr, Lenny, zbell,Pdub,
See you at the stadium!

I was there with my Vital mx shirt and my screen name on the back. I kept poking people saying "hi! are you Nerd!". "hey, have you seen any one legged guys around here". Pretty much the entire place told me to fuck off. Man, those socal people are rude.

I called the local BW3 and they said they were open till 1:00 am and would turn the race on for us. When I got there I asked for one of the TV's in the back to be turned to the race, every TV had the Dallas/Philly football game and no one was sitting near the TV. They acted like I was a pain in the a$$. I should've left but stayed. I guess because it was so cold out that not many people were out so at 12:15 they come by and tell us we'd have to leave as they were closing due to being so slow. Really sucked!

I was in and out of there with TeamGreen and Co, couldn't find anyone the first time we went in.

We checked out a place TeamGreen spotted across from the AMC and dragged the DecalWorks gang there for a bit. TG, what was it called?

Found Hammer and 500Guy but didn't stay long at D&B.

The Lounge at the Tree ended the night.

Me and the kids are good. I'm working at home for my uncle and at age 36 I start college tomorrow. I'm nervous as hell.
Mutt's in Albuquerque and I think he's doing pretty good, he's always busy with friends and stuff. I heard he was even riding today. He'll probably be here sometime.

I know i was gutted missing it this year, that is the worst thing about being in Oz, not being able to do A1, Phx etc and all the festivities that go with the races every year. At the moment it has to be every second year.
