Vince is showing some big confidence in his interview with Matthes. Did i understand right, when he said he wants to be able to retire once his career is over ? Man, not so many riders are able to do this. And i never thought he had the speed/talent to belong to this group. Maybe i'm wrong...

I will be surprised if he is a top 5 guy when he goes back to the 250's. Making the 450 mains has been impressive for him, but making enough to retire on............not a chance. He better start jumping up about sixteen places.

I seem to remember reading in various places that Vince F's parents had cash and that was the money behind him getting the rides he did.
Perhaps without racing he would have been retired already if that's the case.

A rider that doesn't think he has a shot is not going to get ANYWHERE.

FYI-Friese has made the Main on the Big Bike EVERY WEEK: 1 of 16 riders to do so. 15th in Points.

He's doing it on a bike that's got a LOT LESS goin' for it than the 250 he's going to be riding: The Tuf-Racing CRF250R he's getting on is a Hot-Rod.

He's in it to Win It. As he should be.

I'm jus' sayin'...
