The cap had actually broke in half but I have heard others saying there's have came loose and fallen off while out riding too. Quick and easy to check!

hmm i havent had this issue on my sx250. Do you think you tightened it too hard and broke it without realising?

I always replace the stockers with something sturdier and a nut head... cheap insurance.

I tightened my stock plastic piece and it cracked. The aluminium powerpart replacement was 20 bucks.
