What time should we go to beat the traffic? I heard it can get pretty ugly on that two lane section of Hwy 76.

i’m leaving the house here in Vegas in about 2 hours to drive to temecula! I am meeting up with a good childhood riding buddy from AZ and his son for the race. This is their first National so hoping for a good time tomorrow!

what’s the “back way through temecula” route?

exit Temecula Parkway, head east. Make Right onto Pechanga Pkwy and follow all the way (through small mountains, etc) until you reach the 76. Make left. You will see on left.

Just a small clarification; you don't actually reach the 76 from this road. It makes a "T" at Pala Mission Road. Turn left here, then it will "T" onto 76 (actually, more like a "Y" than a "T".) Go left and you'll be 300 yards from the track entrance on the left.

Took this route today for shits and giggles. Come over Ortega to avoid traffic on the 5 south and 76 East. Camping in the van on top the hill. Will have a few loose beers tomorrow if someone gets thirsty.

Good news. Hopefully it’s not too bad by the time I’m there. In helmet currently
