Is it possible to add a "mark all topics read" feature? It would be nice to be able to differentiate between new topics/replies since my last visit and ones that I've already read.

Yes but only the ones you read. I was looking to mark all as read. It's easier to navigate. If the ones you read receive new replies, they can get buried between the ones you've never read.
