Chances of getting a Tm250mxfi for the 250 shootout? Surely Ralph can get one? Really like to see how it stacks up as it should be a hell of a motor.

I can ask, in the past their year models have never been available in time for a Shootout.

That's why I'm hoping this year as the Honda is running behind to allow it. You'd trump the other shootouts pulling that off. Genuine 7 way shooutout

How does the Suzuki and Kawasaki start hot and cold being that there still kick started? Another point I didn't see in your testing was the bikes shifting? Are all the bikes smooth shifters now? Also curious to know if you plan re-testing the Suzuki with a modified shock just to see if it can be made to work better? Hopefully it can!

If it's available sure, if it isn't, I'm not waiting.

Kawi good on both, Suzuki was a bit difficult for me when hot.

No one had any complaints shifting wise on any of the bikes. Some of the riders do comment on shifting here and there in their notes.

The Yamaha YZ450F continues to be the friendliest bike for the taller folk.

Thank you very much, one last question. Currently have '12 RMZ450 use for modern ( vintage main thing ) Does the '18 feel pretty similar ergo wise to you compared to the previous gen ? Thanks again, have a great one

It feels similar fairly similar, the seat profile is a little taller at the rear though...not as flat as the prior generation RM-Z....so it can feel a little stinkbug like.
