X - Games Gold Metal winner Kevin Johnson and former pro Vernon McKiddie went 1-2 in the first Over 25 "A" moto of the Main Event Series race on the Rio Bravo night track in Houston. Vernon had a total of 10 minutes on the bike prior to the race and Kevin only 5 minutes. Both were on the 2018 MXR and raced in mode 4. Each bike were totally stock with not even a clicker changed, sage set or air adjusted in the fork.

Neither one of these guys ride much any more, so fitness was an issue, but both of them loved the bikes and want to ride them more.

Oops, thought I uploaded a short video clip from my phone, but it didn't load. Video coming if I can figure out how to load it from my phone...

Here is a shot of Kevin Johnson. Not the best action shot, but its a 60 foot step up right out of a turn. Kevin was doing it from the inside. Most riders had to hit the outside to clear it.
