He seems like a really good kid. Was totally honest and answered the questions. Didn't just rattle off his list of sponsors. Actually admitted he was wasn't breathing, and it was causing mistakes.

I dig it, he’s a good balance of a little cocky and humble when he needs to be ..I actually think the 250 class in general has some good kids WITH PERSONALITY coming up ??

That interview was exactly what we all want from the riders. Sad fact is I’m sure he got “talked too” about not thanking a single sponsor. Apparently the teams take that very serious and people get butthurt If they don’t get mentioned on the podium even though we can clearly see all their logos on thier jerseys. Good on Austin for being real and not a robot.

Agreed. No a big fan of his but that interview was freekin excellent. Much respect for that. It doesn’t take much to earn a new fan. That was a good start.

I may be wrong but I don't think I remember a single interview with him complaining, quite the opposite-even after Plessingers very hard pass on him at RedBud 2018.
Very impressive!!!
Makes him very easy to like and cheer for.
